Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.83/day in the week to Jul 17 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game itself is very fun. I was pretty hesitant before buying it, but I really wanted an Advance Wars–type game. I haven’t played the first one yet, but I might grab it when it’s on sale. One thing that almost made me skip this game was the huge number of thumbs-down reviews, but after looking closely, most of those people seem to be mad about the dialogue. So here are a couple of clarifications: Yes, the game involves a lot of dialogue. It happens in two ways: At the start of a level — you get some context, lore, or a heads-up about where the story is going (the story isn’t bad at all most of the time). Between rounds — you completed an objective that advances the story, but you’re still on the same level? Here’s a dialogue! Oh, you just killed an insignificant unit? Well, here’s a random “AUUUGH~” line, even though you’ve killed plenty before with no reaction. Yes, it’s annoying, and I can’t see myself playing this in one long sitting — nor do I think anyone should. You can left-click to advance each dialogue pop-up, and you can right-click to skip cutscene-style dialogue. There’s a lot of it, and I really wish there were an option in the settings to turn it off. But many reviews make it sound like the game is unplayable or like you’re in a hostage situation… which would only be true if you couldn’t left-click your way out. I had my fair share of fun with this one and would 100% recommend it to anyone who enjoys this genre.

Sure, Wargroove 1 has more singleplayer content and have better music, but I personally enjoy Wargroove 2 better, even the music, the story is really good under the surface and leaves a quite bit open for personal interpretation, that aside, Wargroove 2's story is the pain and coping with loss and it's told in a way I never seen before, or at least the more memorable story on lossing your home, friends or even family. But there's the glaring issue, that the text boxes cannot be skipped and it gets pretty annoying having to restart the map or reload a checkpoint before unskippable dialogue gets in the way, but at the very least, you are free to drop the difficulty or even adjust it to your taste, I low key reccomend this as the maps tends to be fairly lenthy despite being every campaigns are shorter compaired to the first game The gameplay once again, is the best part and very community driven, great PvP Maps, challenging PvE maps, Co-op missions, custom campaigns, mods and the Archipelago Mod by Flysniper is something I find myself playing every now and then. (Also the subtle detail if you play with animations on, the attacks are snappier not very notictable but I like it.) Don't let everyone's opinion drive your away from playing this, if you enjoyed the first game then this could suprise you.
This is a animated movie with very little game play. It is basically a book.
Wargroove 2 is great fun but has some bugs
Wargroove 2 is a game which improves on it's predecessor in almost every way. The story is split into 3 campaigns, each following different characters and factions within the world of Aurania. There's more trauma in this story, which fits better for a game with nations constantly fighting each other. There's no built in puzzles or co-op campaign but there is conquest, which is a rogue lite mode. Conquest is some of the most fun I've had in the Wargroove games. Arcade mode isn't present in Wargroove 2 but it wasn't really all that fun in the first game anyway. Arcade essentially exists by just playing against the AI in multiplayer mode, which is all arcade was anyway. There's nothing stopping players from players from downloading or making their own puzzles and co-op campaigns, thus filling the gap left by the built in content. The default multiplayer maps are exceptionally well designed and hand crafted by Advance Wars enthusiasts with years of experience making competitive and balanced maps. The editor is divine, if you can navigate through the bugs. There are significantly more editor features in this game. Most of the new features are buggy and not recommended for online play. Certain features like changing the terrain and skipping actions are fairly bug free and allow for some really powerful scenario designs. Items are a new addition to 2 which add a lot of variety to scenario maps and campaigns. They do desync online games, so don't use them if your map is meant to be played online. I am a scenario maker/mod developer for this game. I made:

A random 1v1 map generator as a scenario
A random 1v1 map generator as a mod
Frogger
Various Among Us like maps (Prey of the Cult is the latest `RKG72GQ9`)
A randomizer campaign mod which connects to other games using archipelago
What will you discover and create in Wargroove 2?
Its still a good game in spite of what people say. I have played this on PC and ANDROID PHONE. New characters, new factions new buildings and units and so on make it very very lively. Oh did I mention its for Android and IPHONE? Here are the problems though 1. Poor AI 2. UI sucks on phones 3. Repetitive 4. Not a whole lot new things 5. Not enough content 6. Not enough people playing it. (I hope Im wrong but I haven't found many people RATING 6 out of 10 stars
It moves further from what I'm looking for in the game, but technically does improve upon WarGroove1. I just lost interest in it as the tone, story, and overall motif shift from my tastes.
A punishment for those who played the original.
I've finished the game on Nintendo Switch and had to buy it again. Challenging and fun, nice sequel. Looking forward to DLC or the next game.
Idk why everyone is whining, its just better wargroove 1
