Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 11 → 6.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is very good. Yes, it's FTL, but it's far better in my opinion. I found, playing FTL, that any random event that led to your ship being infiltrated by enemies was basically insta-death. I'm sure some chud may say I'm just bad at the game, but you really had almost nothing in the way of buffs for your guys. I love how much this game has focused on that with stuff like psychic powers, armor, tools, weapons... I really feel like the guys on my ship are able to fend for themselves, and that I have more options with which to attack the enemy. I also really like how they just got rid of fuel... you just move forward, with some options along the way. Much better, and more currency for fun stuff like items and weapons instead of just fuel/hull points. My only major complaint is why the f$%& can't I loot equipment from dead crew members if they die ON MY SHIP. You're telling me that a guy carrying a sword and wearing armor, he dies from being shot on my own ship and... the sword just... what, the SWORD got shot to pieces? Or he dies from gas and... his armor is entirely worthless now? Very dumb. Overall, it's FTL, so it's still quite difficult, the last boss and any optional hard combat are terribly difficult. It's easy to end up in a spiral where you're spending all your time and resources defending yourself with no way to move forward... even on the one run I have won so far, it was kind of absurd... the last boss basically requires you to be good at everything (attacks that bypass shields, boarding, attacks that do major hull damage, AND all types of defense). I was able to use spells to create a sort of gridlock in the enemy ship and then very, very slowly do the (truly insane) amount of hull damage required to take the W, all while meticulously managing all the stuff I was doing to keep the enemy on a defense spiral so they weren't obliterating me with their super attack where they get to just shoot like 10 shots at once. A bit silly in terms of a difficulty spike as compared to almost every other combat in the 2hrs that lead up to the end. So is it perfect? No... but the vibes are immaculate. The music is so eerie and scary and intense, but after 6hrs I haven't replaced it with my own music (which is huge praise from me), so it's just perfect for the game without being repetitive or too annoying. The graphics are basically just FTL but better. The random situations you get in can be very creepy and eerie, interesting, etc. Overall my only complaint is basically that it's hard AF, especially without good luck on the run, but hey, that's the game they want. I'm also not sure how to unlock more characters and ships unless it's like one per time you beat the game... Basically, if you liked FTL, I can't see any reason you wouldn't want this, and if you've heard of FTL but never tried it, I simply think this is better, especially if you care about this lore (I do not, but the game is trying so hard I am kinda interested to look into it...) It's a buy for sure, like a 9/10 for now, 7.5/10 if I stop playing before the 20hr mark due to frustration caused by very long runs and unfair difficulty spikes near the end.

Eat a di*k games workshop this game is sick and not yours
"we got FTL at home," bruh at least balance the game
This game is better than FTL, which is a good game. Noice.
FTL meets the grim dark future of the legally distinct millennium. The game feels good, the inclusion of psychers fits very well. The combination of ships and commanders makes for extra interesting starting points and fun questions on what you can get out of the unique strengths and weaknesses of a ship by putting the "right" captain on it. The old FTL staple of "very high volley plus good shields and evasion" still holds true but magic can mess with that with various crew targeting powers if you're not careful. It has also been getting fairly consistent post-launch support which is a giant green flag. I wish the devs every success and I'm looking forward to seeing what they add and what their future projects will be.
As others have said, this is a mashup of 40k + FTL, and I never knew peanut butter + jelly could taste so good. It executes, and does it extremely well. Note to dev: - Would like visual distinction for shield levels. At a glance just looking at your ship and seeing you have 1/4 shields as its mostly transparent, but the closer you get to 4/4 the shield effect becomes more transparent - More weapon sounds
A Temu mashup between FTL and Warhammer 38k. I didn't enjoy it.
This game feels like an excellent mod of faster than light that is themed as after warhammer 40k.
Superb take on the FTL-style game, with its own additions, changes and world. Just different enough it's its own game, while similar enough that its an easy recommend to FTL fans.
