Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 11 → 6.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

is gud yes?
FTL + Warhammer 40k,with some gameplay changes. Crew have their own equipment slots with weapon, armor, tool and psychic powers. Different crews have different amounts of each slot, which make them excel at different things. For example a berserker might have 2 weapon slots which might make them really powerful at boarding, while witches may be able to equip multiple psychic powers to blast enemies from her own ship, or summon units. Machine cult units often have one or more tool slots, which can have really powerful consumable effects. The game copies a lot from both FTL and Warhammer 40k, but in the end it's fun which is the important part to me. With the current amount of content I'd say it's comparable to base FTL, and if you love FTL you will probably love Void War too. If you're used to playing FTL with Multiverse+, the amount of content here is not really comparable (which is too big of an ask to be honest), but it can still give you dozens of hours of fun. They are constantly updating it every coupe of months so I'm looking forward to what kind of content they add in the future.
Good game

Pretty fun FTL-like. Still very difficult. Wish it was more clear on how unlocks are earned. Def. worth a purchase, particularly on sale.
its good
While the gameplay can be addicting, what's NOT addicting is the stupid lack of QoL and high levels of micro management. If you are into micromanaging everything, even after a battle, this is the game for you. Finish killing all of the enemy troops w/ boarding parties? Better be sure to immediately turn off any auto-firing because the game won't do it, and certainly won't auto-recall before your weapons explode the enemy ship and kill your boarding party! Fun times!
