Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 11 → 6.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
great game
This game keeps on getting more content even after the initial release. Highly recommend if you like the emperor and FTL.
This scratches that FTL itch and does so pretty well, with many of the QoL improvements that came with the Multiverse mod. As a plus, at time of writing the dev is still providing fairly regular updates.

flt but better
Soooooooooooooooooo much better than FTL
FTL qui rencontre 40k, enjoy !! Je suis à une quinzaine d'heures dessus et je n'ai encore rien fait !
The best feature of this game has to be the part where it arbitrarily decides to save the boss from the same fate I've brought upon literally every other enemy in the game. Every other ship can be beaten to death with minions. but for some reason the final boss gets to be excluded from this, as my minions just...stand there. This results in a stalemate. The boss cannot kill me. I am not allowed, for some reason, to kill the boss. So there goes my entire playthrough. Waste of time. This is a common sort of occurrence in Void War. This is one of those indie devs who missed a fundamental basic of gaming: reward loops. The game, mechanically, is primarily RNG, so there's scarcely a learning curve to begin with. When someone does learn something, don't punish them. The game is obviously designed for high difficulty, but it's the lazy difficulty, difficulty via tedium rather than via learning curve. Unless you are just blatantly not reading a damned thing, the game is really rather simple...it just comes down to whether the shops and nodes actually have anything useful for you. Go 4 or more nodes in a row with no event to grant you income, as I have had happen? Just restart the run tbh, you are now behind in income, through literally no fault of your own, and it will bite you in the ass down the line.
Like every other review of this game I've come from FTL and see this a welcome and long awaited successor. What makes this game so great is that there is no one way to play leading to countless runs and far too much time spent with out realising. Want to 2 shot the final boss on any difficulty spawn a load of demon babies and ghouls on your ship and hit it with your demon lance. Find a sword that make your whole boarding party immune to fire and burn their ship down. Some how find 3-4 dark tech priests and your enemy can never repair their weapons or shields again. There are so many ways to play so you'll find you mix and match as you go or you might even throw your whole build away when find a insane weapon, item or crew member that changes your whole strategy. I can't recommend this game enough. I've had so much fun experimenting with builds as I've 100 percented the game. Did this in about 65 hours and that's with me intentionally doing so. So so many hours of game play to be had. If you're coming from FTL and are still unsure here are the pros (there are very few cons and the developers have already address many of these already) 1. No more Fuel management 2. No skill progression on crew members so even the new crew before the last fight are useful 3. Crew get their own weapons, tools, armour and spells that are all changeable! 4. Game is currently getting content drops every month 5. FTL without mods felt a little empty and unfinished. This feel complete even though it's not even in 1.0 yet! This game has so much potential and it doesn't even have mods yet! The only thing I miss from FTL is some of the silliness and unique characters you could recruit from strange side quests or picking a dialog option. But that's something for mods or later updates. Although there are more and more quests with unique items being added but no unique crew members as of yet Be warned if you have not played FTL that some of the deaths/loses may seem "unfair" but it's just getting used to how it all works and micro managing your crew. For example: You though you were winning a fight but didn't see your captain get teleported to the enemy ship by a wizard and has been fighting for his life for the past 20s (I've done this). Your super strong but slow gun has missed the enemy 3 times in a row and now your ship is on 2 health (you didn't target their engines or command bridge so they had 45% evasion the whole time). If you loss a run there is nearly always a reason so just stick with it and learn as you go. This is in my top 3 games I've bought this year and I can't wait to see how it pans out in 2 years time. 10/10 would recommend. It's completely worth the full steam price. Support a great developer and get the game!
Not Warhammer in space very good I love it
If you enjoy doing only boarding in FTL this game might be up your alley, if not you are ♥♥♥♥ out of luck. You want to run a gunship run? sorry you won't find stores to sell guns to you nor that you could afford them anyway if your not doing boarding since most of the loot is in ''vaults'' and most of the scrap will be used to repair or get your shield up so you can actually survive past sector 1 and even if you are able get past all that the guns can still miss on 0% evasion... So guns are set aside as a subsystem used only to finish off a ship if you aren't able to crew kill and there is a lot of ship you can't crew kill... And in all of this boarding being king.. you don't get the medical room from FTL, no the main healing is jumping, so if you have a bad fight it can take up to 6 jumps to get the crew back to 100% there is a ''medical room'' but its super rare and limited to 1-3 charges per jump(its a subsystem that dosen't use power which is nice at least)... So if you use a ship that doesn't have boarding (or have a crew that can teleport you) you are actively shooting yourself in the foot but there is no way of getting new ships past winning, you can get variants of ships 2 ways, winning with X previuos ship or grinding LOTS of runs for resonance (special end of run money) Aka There is NO way of getting new ships or their variants in the run themselves like FTL had. Only victory or LOTS of Death(Grind)
