Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 11 → 6.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Inspired by FTL in the style of 40k with a ton more progression and mechanics. Art is fantastic and it can be challenging on the higher difficulties. One of my favorite roguelikes at the moment.
FTL clone and a Temu version of 40k smahed together. Very Very close to FTL gameplay wise. Things i like: - i like the art (its better than FTL imo) - It has features that FTL doesn't have (70+ crew types, new weapon concepts, equipment for your crew) - Other than being a clone of the gameplay all of the content is completely different - Devs are still adding content Things that FTL did better: - Game balance is better in FTL. Psychic powers combined with unlimited crew cap are obscenely OP in Void War - I like the overall theme of FTL better Grimdark is cool but the pale imitation of 40k doesn't do it for me - Void War lacks the gimicky ship types that kept FTL interesting to play as you unlocked ships - Drones are cool and they aren't in Void War - Its more fast paced than Void War Void War is lacking a lot of the charm and carefully balanced gameplay that FTL has, but it makes up for it with its own additions to the FTL formula and it's worth playing if you enjoyed the original.

awesome game i keep getting owned
Almost super fun... but the game logic ruins it. I want to be excited about updates... but you only encounter new content maybe 1/100 run-throughs. i have over 170 hours so I'm not just hating on a game i don't know. It is a fantastic alternative to FTL and has so much potential. it needs more everything. good starting point but expand. like A LOT. please!
Copy of FTL with a copy of Warhammer but, why do they both didnt do this? So cool!
Excellent gameplay supported by interesting story tidbits to read between battles. For FTL fans: it's simultaneously similar enough that you'll feel quite at home, while having enough differences to feel fresh. In particular, I like how Void War has lots of interesting builds and synergies, whereas FTL felt like it had only a few.
Superior to FTL on every aspect.
FTL set in a 40k like grimdark world, what's not to like? Adds some interesting new twists on the formula like psychers casting spells from ship to ship, and equipment that heavily impacts combat.
Masterclass FTL successor. If youre a 40k fan and love FTL, this game is definetely a must grab. A lot of ships, systems, races/classes and events. Game is extremely well polished. I had no idea this game was out and caught it by accident on a steam sale. Thank you roguelite gods for bringing this absolute banger of a game to my attention.
