If you're craving a rogue-lite that captures the score-chasing essence of arcade classics like Space Invaders, Asteroids, or Geometry Wars, this is worth trying. I got hooked right away in the first 30 minutes. Initially, I craved more enemy variety per run, but switching maps is cool too. That said, the meta-progression and replay value feel a bit thin, leaving me wanting endless mode or deeper customization. Recommended for arcade enthusiasts and if you want Vampire Survivors-level meta grind. [h3] What Works Great [/h3] 1) Core Loop & Builds: Fun experimenting with hyper-powers and synergies. It's that addictive "one more run" vibe where tweaking your setup feels rewarding. 2) Difficulty & Pacing: Balanced, you dictate the challenge. Waves ramp up naturally without frustration. 3) Music & Vibe: High-BPM electronic music that change with enemy waves. I hope the dev expands on this for new maps. [h3] What Holds It Back [/h3] 1) Art & Variety: Ships are all one shape and only have different color patterns. Modular attachments or ship parts for the metagame could boost the variety in the number of builds, but probably more difficult to balance. 2) UI Polish Needed: No EXP numeric counter for level-ups (guessing feels off), inconsistent background panels make upgrade choices hard to read, and a post-run stats page would be a nice-to-have. I also noticed the exp coins can hide off-screen (was this intended?) 3) Content Depth: Barebones story—just an intro cinematic. No pilot backstories, world-building, or side quests. Runs end soon after maxing core systems; endless mode post-30min could fix the "almost over" pacing blues. At its price, it's a solid pick for rogue-lite fans who dig pure arcade action. My suggestion is to lean into different ship mod equipables and UI tweaks to make the game better.

After playing on stream for several hours I have to say this game has me hooked, and I'm looking forward to playing it again tomorrow! (Prior stream plans be darned!) The retro-future vibe is awesome, the music is bangin', the bosses are fun, and I can't wait to discover what else the game has in store. The developer hung out in stream for a while and was super friendly and open to feedback, which I really appreciate as well. I'm rooting for Void Resurgence, and am excited not only for content updates, but also to see what Puza Games comes up with in the future. :) Thanks again Puza for the opportunity to play this gem!

Kód jsem dostal náhodou zdarma do e-mailu. Moc se mi do toho nechtělo, protože skoro nic nehraju, ale ze zvědavosti jsem to zkusil a nepřestal jsem, dokud jsem nedohrál první misi. Je to hrozně chytlavé, doporučuji. Jen z toho trochu ‚kouká‘ AI – například i tím, že nikde není uveden žádný autor. Ale nakonec mi to bylo ♥♥♥.

This game is amazing not gonna lie. Even if this game has been released on August 2025, this feels like an old 2D shooting game which gives me nostalgia as long as I'm playing it. And yes, it has more cool stuff you can discover more during the game. Definetely an amazing game to try it out! ^^

as of any other survivor games out there i am liking this game very much reminds me of space raiders as a kid back in the 80's so yeah i would recommend this game if u loved space raiders back in the day i will be playing more of this
