About
You are the Nomad — an elder vampire awakening from a century-long slumber, new to the modern nights. Trapped in your Blood is a stranger’s voice. This entity, a vampire detective known as Fabien, will be your guide to 21st-century Seattle. You will explore the city through his eyes as well as those of the Nomad, as you revisit a cold case from a hundred years ago that is threatening undead and mortal society alike.
Hunt your way through a modern-night Seattle on the brink of an open supernatural war in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire Court of Seattle and its dark underbelly in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.

Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. You’ll stalk and feed on the city’s population at night. Use your supernatural powers or raw persuasion on unsuspecting mortals to lure them into dark alleys and slake your Hunger. However, be cautious about breaking the Masquerade: revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating from there. Remember, you are not the only creature that goes bump in the night.
Experience immersive, visceral combat that rewards various playstyles and approaches based on your choice of vampire clan. Will you engage in close combat with supernatural strength, attack from a distance with blood sorcery, or silently thin the herd like the apex predator you are? Your clan choice will support these playstyles and more.

Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing. In this sequel to the cult classic, your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what becomes of the city and its people.

If you can forget that this is a sequel to VTM Bloodlines, then this game has a lot to offer. The Story is first and foremost the best part - it's incredibly well written and compelling. Combat is a frenetic combination of attacking, dodging, telekinesis and Kindred Powers. I put 35 hours into my first playthrough and enjoyed every minute.
Well, it's not exactly what I was hoping for, but all and all it's a fun game.
I understand why this game is maligned but I had a great time with it on my first time through and I probably will end up completing a few times. The main story is strong though somewhat predictable if you are good at paying attention to narratives. Characters in the main cast are all memorable and there does not feel like there is a weak link, I only wish you got a bit more with them. The action gameplay really works for me especially after the most recent update which introduced proper melee combat with weapons. The difficulty levels feel well made and cater to a wide swath of players. Of recent video game cities this one is the one I have enjoyed spending time in and just chilling in the most, sometimes I would do boring side stuff just to sit in it for longer. It is not really a RPG, but it is not really trying to be so I do not fault it. The big weakness are the side content (all either bad or boring), the side characters feel very thin because of the main cast being so good, some of the more interesting plot elements feel like they are dropped and the actual final ending feels a bit weak. Other than that I do understand why the fandom really hated this but I quite like it. I am sad that with the Chinese Room and Paradox parting ways means there is very little chance for a sequal but I would love this same team take a swing at this again. There are so many good ideas here that if developed could be truly great when the next outing comes. Also if you are a fan of the original games do yourself a favour and listen to the full Bet of Night on YouTube they did for this game. If nothing else that part of the game feels like an excellent sequal to Bloodlines.
the "rpg" elements of the games are VERY bare, alot of walking between people doing fetch or "ask that guy some questions". no inventory. no permanent gear or weapons (no picking up a temporary weapon dosnt count in my book) i think i unlocked the main ability tree in like an hour, not sure if my xp is bugged or not becouse there is no character screen where you can look at info. the masqurade is a joke, if you missbehave you only have to wait a minute or so for it to be all good again. And dont get me started on the ***warning spoiler*** dream missions, feels very forced. combat is.... yeah not sure what to say but it isnt great. not everything is bad, there a parts that i like or that has potential if it was polished slighty like the parkour bit, voice acting is over all good and fabian is fine, sneaking around killing ghouls and hunters can be fun but the npc behavior when you get out of line of sight is goldfish like. if they just took more inspiration from the first game and didnt gut all the RPG elements they could have had a solid game if they leaned into the torpor elder waking up and needing to learn skills to manage the new world. in the first game every level and point you earned was gold worth and you had to chose what you wanted to be able to do and what would be a weakpoint for you, in this game i think i have something like 30-40 ability points that i got no real use for. i have unlocked some extra powers but the total is set

Dialogi rewelacja …idealnie dobrany głos do osoby …jedynie głos protagonisty !!
I was really looking forward to this game. I remember seeing the trailer about seven years ago, and I would check for new information every year. Recently, I finally played it. On my first playthrough, I was satisfied with the story, the dialogue, and the city. But on my second playthrough, I realized that the developers really half-assed it and didn’t take this great project seriously at all. This game could have been amazing, but in the end, it turned out very average. There are no side missions at all. They could have added more weapons — there’s so much they could have included. I’ll leave a positive review because I don’t want this project to completely die. They just need to find a serious team that will make a truly great vampire game with all their heart.
