About
You are the Nomad — an elder vampire awakening from a century-long slumber, new to the modern nights. Trapped in your Blood is a stranger’s voice. This entity, a vampire detective known as Fabien, will be your guide to 21st-century Seattle. You will explore the city through his eyes as well as those of the Nomad, as you revisit a cold case from a hundred years ago that is threatening undead and mortal society alike.
Hunt your way through a modern-night Seattle on the brink of an open supernatural war in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire Court of Seattle and its dark underbelly in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.

Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. You’ll stalk and feed on the city’s population at night. Use your supernatural powers or raw persuasion on unsuspecting mortals to lure them into dark alleys and slake your Hunger. However, be cautious about breaking the Masquerade: revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating from there. Remember, you are not the only creature that goes bump in the night.
Experience immersive, visceral combat that rewards various playstyles and approaches based on your choice of vampire clan. Will you engage in close combat with supernatural strength, attack from a distance with blood sorcery, or silently thin the herd like the apex predator you are? Your clan choice will support these playstyles and more.

Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing. In this sequel to the cult classic, your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what becomes of the city and its people.

Reviews
Let me start by stating the obvious, this is not an RPG and this does not scratch the first game's itch but I'm having fun so I'd say it's a good adventure/action game, the soundtrack team absolutely nailed it though, the music does give bloodlines vibes. Nothing too remarkable about the game, it's plain good I'd say. 7/10.
i lovevampire ony thing was couldnt get our of first bilding to roof
I actually enjoyed both the game and the storyline. The optimization and mechanics could be better, ball all in all I think it's a good game.
If you walk into this game expecting a carbon copy of Bloodlines 1 you'll be disappointed. If you expect slavish adherence to the TTRPG, you'll be disappointed. If you expected a paradox product to release without a tonne of bugs, you'll also be disappointed (unless you were for some reason wishing for a repeat of bloodlines 1's game breaking release bug on the society of leopold mission, in which case you might be both nostalgic and a little bit nuts). If you go into it expecting a single player action adventure which is inspired by VTM 5th ed, then you'll be fine. First off, it's a miracle this game got published at all. The chinese room deserve massive credit for coming in and getting this game to launch. The story is cohesive, the character designs work, and I actually enjoyed exploring Fabien and Phyre's tale. Benny's DLC was also a genuine cackle (make sure to visit Silky), and about the length I expect a DLC to be. I've yet to play the latest DLC. Whilst I'm happy with the latest combat update allowing you to actually pick up and use guns, the fact you can only save at checkpoints is frustrating for a casual player who is frequently interrupted at home. Plan play sessions accordingly, or be prepared to load autosaves.
It is an enjoyable action game, just don't expect it to be a sequel to Bloodlines. Overall, TLDR = Get it on sale. I wouldn't say it's worth $45+, but I would say it's fun. I am having a lot of fun with it. I enjoy the stealth, the combat, the traversal, different ways to pick apart enemies and the tactics, the feel of the different clans (Tremere are cunning orchestrators of disaster, Brujah are brute force) at least in combat or playstyle. There's a lot about the game to like. Phyre as a character fits my taste, they're an Elder, from East Europe, whose background you customize during the game, and she's got a fun buddy-cop relationship with Fabian (at least when I play, I've not tried antagonizing him). The most similar game to this I've seen is Dishonored, although Bloodlines 2 has more complex fights (a good thing to me), although the dialogue is very Telltale Games. Also, the support has been good. Most of the things that were issued for me 6 months ago have been improved now (such as adding manual saves). There is room for improvement, but they're making a lot of improvements. Side-quests are a weakness of the game, there are flaws, but overall I'd call it a good game.
yeah nah
