Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Alright, here we go. Where to start? This game is twenty years old. If you are, like I was, being told by friends that "hey vtmb is good you should play it" and you're wondering how good it is, the combat is fun but kind of blocky. Gunplay is not bad considering the game's age. Stealth mechanics are difficult - roll a race with obfuscate if you like being stealthy. Statchecks are annoying as hell, but not unexpected for a game this old in this genre. The good: The writing. The story is good, cohesive, makes sense. The characters feel real - believable, reasonable, driven. The voice acting is fantastic. If you want to just roll through the game on easy difficulty with as little challenge as possible you'll still have a great time because the characters are so good.

um dos se não, O melhor immersive sim que já joguei, esse jogo é absurdo.

Imperfect, full of bugs, a product of its time (early 2000s), and the rough camera movements makes me nauseous, but I totally get why it's a cult classic. It really deserves all its praises. The vibes are absolutely immaculate in this edgy neogothic punk world. It's a truly immersive RPG. Finished it vanilla with all endings. I'm going to add the unofficial patch for my second run with another clan, I just wish the patch was accessible via Steam! ps: French players, do use the English version directly, the subtitles are very buggy anyways and French passwords are sometimes too long for computers' max character limits, lol.

This game is jank as hell, but it's my kind of janky 00s edgy hell.
