Urbek is a city building game where you can build your own neighbourhoods: from nightlife district to industrial district. Don't exhaust your natural resources before you have an educated population to build more efficient structures.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 7 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Urbek, you will be able to build a city of your own design! Manage its natural resources, improve the quality of life of the population, and build its neighbourhoods in your own way.
Breathe life into your city by building different neighbourhoods. Do you want a bohemian neighbourhood? Build bars, parks and libraries, but keep a low population density nearby. Do you want a bourgeois neighbourhood? You need parks and luxury shops.
There is no money in Urbek. Instead, you will have to build everything with your own resources, such as food, coal, or skilled work. There are more than 30 different resources to manage! Manage your natural resources well, so that they do not run out before they can be replaced. How will you choose to produce the energy for your inhabitants and industries?
Education is fundamental! By producing enough qualified work and scientific work, you will be able to build more advanced buildings.
Move around at street level in order to get a more intimate sense of the city you are creating. See and feel the differences between neighborhoods the way your city’s residents do!
The growth of your city will be organic. Some constructions will appear according to the surrounding conditions. For example, buildings with more than two floors will appear in densely populated areas and with basic services.
You can place other buildings by yourself, but they need some conditions. For instance, the local market needs to be close to the farms. The university should have some high schools nearby, which, in turn, require nearby schools.
When it comes to designing your city, you have a variety of viable options. There are no buildings that are superior to others. Every decision will have its pros and cons. Bourgeois houses consume more food and need resources that cost more to produce, but will improve the quality of life of the residents there. On the other hand, improving the productivity of industries will produce more resources, but will diminish the quality of life for residents living in the area.

Super fun, but sometimes difficult to understand
trailer makes it look way better than it actually is. tutorial was long, building was uncreative and boring. Not fun.

A quite different and very utilitarian city builder that seems almost satirical in the amount of control you dont have over anything, it is, from as far as i can tell, a city builder about the illusion of choice. it's about a city planners rote incentives to optimise and to min max a cities efficiency to create specific acceptable city layouts to push for more recursive growth but also about how the people living in these cities have no control either and are at the whims of an optimised, uncaring system. its a really cold and unfun city builder but its unique and got me thinking about how not everyone can get what they want. so you can't really decide on how your city looks, i mean you can put down roads in however way you want and plot down where your buildings go but the game is constantly nudging you in a direction where if you dont play it in an exactly programmed and efficient way then that constant growth that you usually come to expect in a city builder will come to a stop pretty much immediatley. it will nag at you to build more industrial distiricts, to pump out more metal works and build more farms and farmhouses to feed but not too many because then too many people are working on the farms so you need to build more houses but you also need rich and educated people with money so you need to make schools but you cant do that if you dont have enough industry, and for that you need more skilled workers and yeah the enitre game is like that. its constantly pushing you to play it a specific way. there is almost zero self expression here. the entire game is built around the fact that there is no currency and instead your balancing a bunch of resources but there are so many of them and they impact eatchother so much that there is never a moment where your not thinking about it. you litearly cant make a single creative choice in this game besides editing the map you play on at the start. everything else is following a strict system of checks and balances. chasing down numbers and making them go up to make other numbers go up and ect. this game manages to be sadistic without being hard or all that demanding to play. its like a soviet kingdoms and castles but ramped up to 11 and all about weighing the quality of life of your citizens and the growth and progress to of your city. it is so good at dehumanising your citizens and turning them into abstract values and numbers its scary. 7.8/10 - the city must grow
A very refreshing take on the city building genre. I appreciate having a whole range of resources to manage instead of just money. The graphics feel very nice and it makes the whole city pleasant to watch. The multiple maps with their own mechanics offer quite some replayability as well.
