Grausame Steuerung! Let´s Zock
Resident sleeper, every enter to sub or habitat animated, waste of time watchin same animation hundreds of times, few seconds but add all of them... controls ... slow... its a walking underwaterr simulator, if u though it can substitute subnautica u will refund as i do now.
So good. Nice soundtrack. This one makes me miss diving.
What a beautiful and sad game this turned out to be. The story for this game is top level. A little obvious from the get go on what it will be about and the direction it will go in.. but the story telling is just fantastic. Along with the main story you have the story about this oil drilling company that is causing so many issues with the ocean. The game shows how bad this is through the gameplay in a great way. It shows the plastics, metal and everything else that causes issues with pollution in the ocean and gives that awareness in the gameplay. The descriptions of the animals is amazing since its just a small factoid about them which is great for a small educational purpose. The whole gameplay caught me right away, open world, upgrades, cleaning the ocean bit by bit (sadly you can't fully clean it) and just all around the exploration factor from the animals to the wrecks within this small part of the ocean. All around this game felt fun to play and felt amazing to explore. The game is somewhat short? (whilst writing the review it says I have 5 hours but also says I have around 9-10) and it's 100% worth playing through. There was a couple of nitpicking moments I had with the game and some issues I faced. First of all, I crashed only once (as it was once this isnt an issue) and it was during a cutscene it seemed to put a cutscene where there shouldnt have been one (I don't even know how this happens). Secondly, The dialogue can get really really repetitive and it can cut out the story dialogue when you are exploring and they are talking. This is annoying since you don't really get much of a sign unless you fully stop for the dialogue to end. Thirdly, there is some holes int he terrain that you can go through and it was not intended (at one point I was under the map just cause I thought it was a way in a cave) and lastly, I had a super bad bug that kinda scared the sh** out of me. I was exploring with my submarine near the refinery and then all of a sudden the game froze for a second and put me 3K distance away from the map... This is outside of the map (they have walls). On the plus side it was easy enough to get back in and I wasn't stuck but.... on the other hand it gave me a heart attack based on my experiences with subnautica... I thought a creature was going to get me for sure. Oh and one minor problem is in the last cutscenes I couldn't take the sad scene that seriously because a pig backpack was kinda blocking the view..... I know why games tend to try hide props in cutscenes now,.. But the goods DEFFO outdo the bad. The controls seemed fine and you can change view in your sub (the camera can be a bit disorienting), the story was great, the world building is fantastic and just overall its a great play especially if you enjoy your underwater games :D
