About
Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts aims to be the first game of its kind - a true naval warfare game - which offers a unique opportunity to design and build countless variations of realistic looking warships combined with an extremely in-depth and realistic combat model. We are absolutely excited with what we are making and we hope everyone who is interested about the dreadnought era and naval warfare, will join our ambitious project and support us.
BUILD THE BATTLESHIPS THE WAY YOU WANT
Become the architect of powerful warships, from small torpedo boats to mighty Battleships! Recreate famous ships such as the HMS Dreadnought and countless speculative designs. Pick turret layout, armor scheme, funnel placement, tower variations making each ship look and feel unique. Their hull characteristics, internal upgrade selection and weight distribution not only modifies their speed and maneuverability but also their weapon effectiveness. Every design detail of your warships has a significant effect on the combat capability of your ships.
STRONG AI
Naval combat becomes immersive and feels even more realistic when your opponent is able to react to your actions with a human-like and unexpected behavior. The AI evaluates the optimal engagement distance, using principles of the “Immunity Zone” and comparing its own firepower versus your ships. The AI uses ammunition wisely, holding fire when necessary or switching shell types according to the armor protection of the target. Unless there is a special mission directive, the AI will not act suicidally and will attempt to withdraw, if its fleet becomes heavily damaged or it is much weaker than yours.
NAVAL ACADEMY & CUSTOM BATTLES
The Custom Battle system allows you to experiment and enjoy naval battles utilizing endless combinations of ship designs in technology eras between the years 1890 and 1950 for ten different nations. Additionally, there is the “Naval Academy” which currently includes 63 battle scenarios, where you will have to design a ship or a squadron to fulfill a certain combat tactical task. These numerous missions will allow you to practice and enjoy the many innovative design and combat aspects of the game.
THE CAMPAIGN
You can fully design your fleet, immerse yourself in epic naval battles and make crucial strategic decisions on the map with a single goal to defeat your opponents by annihilating their fleets and strangling their economy. The map includes necessary historical and strategic aspects that can simulate actual facts of the period 1890-1940.

Why abandon such a beautiful game, Devs?
core functions still broken.
I have yet to play the actual game, only the Custom Battle part of the game, and for the same reason -- I am very much into historical plausibility/accuracy, and I do not feel the Campaign is remotely either of these, while I feel that the Custom Battle portion of UAD is arguably accurate in nature. It's basically physics in action, with some economics thrown in for good measure (every aspect of the shipbuilding component is a practice in tradeoffs, so as to keep one's ship under weight). This part of the game is great, but the Campaign component is so abstracted as to make it unplayable in my mind.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun game, but could have needed a lot of polishing. UI isnt that great, sometimes the mechanics are very clunky.
The game isn't even remotely historical. The WW2 1940 launch scenario is just a copy/paste of the fleets from the WW1 scenario. They don't even have the right historical ship classes for Germany in 1940. In the 1930 scenario launch they have the 3 Panzerschiffe but they aren't accurate in which class they are in or in any other way. The game is an unfinished mess.
At this point almost feels like a scam and here's why: - Developer promised things that are nowhere to be seen. - They already abandoned the development - The mechanics that are in the game seems like 0 thinking behind them You wanna start a new campaign? better generate the world a few times cause your staring gdp and growth are total random The ships? without putting any part they are already unbalanced af so no accuracy and when u build them u will have "building flaws" that are unremovable and costed u 20 months of building Diplomacy? you mean random wars with big nations that provoke more wars with other big nations that provoke... Oh so you maybe think, let's conquer smaller nations to boost my gdp... TOTALLY RANDOM. your "country AI" choose when. Been in campaigns where AI was conquering all the world and I didn't trigger even one war with minor nation UNTILL big nation declared war to me. That and so much more.. feels like a recurrent thing with this devs (also happened in Naval action) they sell u the idea but then they give 20% and leave
I loved the concept of this game and several other games they have created, but like so many other bad publishers rush everything and ruin games and this is sadly one of them. like everyone else is stating the game is honestly less then half finished buggy, likes to crash for no good reason, and frankly needs the DIP mod to be playable at all. Don't waste your money even if it's on sale I would get a refund if I could but I bought it while in development and have over 40 hrs in.
Симулятор навешивания оружием во все щели в конструкторе
I find the campagin to be in a completely unplayable state. 95% of the gameplay is just clicking 20 on ok buttons popping up every month for information I realy do not care about. The interface is totaly unpolished. It is not even clear how to intercept an enemy fleet (not shure if there even is a good way to do that). Campagin loocks more like a verry early access version not like what should be expected of a finished game where devellopment has stoped.
DO NOT BUY MY FELLOW HUMANSES THIS GAME HAS NOT BEEN PROPERLY COMPLETED. In all seriousness when I did play this game I enjoyed it a lot, but I believe I was propped up by hope for its future.
