Game seems good so far. Only issue I had was with game feeling choppy. I messed with some settings. Turned off Vsync and capped FPS. Plays so much better now.
Good and short love letter to Bioshock! Pretty satisfying combat and nice traversal puzzles! The atmosphere in the different levels and scenarios are super nice
its just awesome

After around 10 hours, I can safely say that Twisted Tower is a damn good time. The relentless retro FPS action is easily the highlight. Combat is fast, intense and consistently fun, especially on the higher difficulties. There’s enough enemy variety to keep encounters from becoming repetitive, and the game does a great job of keeping the pressure on without feeling exhausting. Atmosphere-wise, Twisted Tower absolutely nails it. It’s creepy, spooky and intense, with visuals that remind me of FPS games from the early 2010s — in the best possible way. And the art style? Chef’s kiss. Easy recommendation if you like BioShock, fast-paced FPS combat, atmospheric games, or preferably all three. Especially at this price point.
I was an early Beta player and amazing to see there this project went after following for years. If it perfect, no. Is it Bioshock, also no. It IS a fun, twisted look into if Walk Disney snapped and you as a main character were thrown into a crazy love story. Speaking of story, that was one of my issues from the start, there's a lot left on the table on the story front. You can see he way pushing for a "Would you kindly" moment and simply wasn't even in the ballpark, but what is a win is atmosphere, gameplay and intrigue. I can't imagine the pressure of 5 years of development, so hope you all enjoy and Thomas gets out of this what he wanted.
PROS: - Good and straightforward level design that is easy to navigate without ever feeling annoyingly lost. - Good overall pacing. The game keeps you constantly moving without taking away control or forcing you to wait around unnecessarily. - Good voice acting across all characters. - Nice variety of enemy designs. - Good variety of weapons to use. - Smooth controls and satisfying combat. - Enough story and interesting characters to effectively carry the gameplay. - Good price for the amount of content offered. CONS: Towards the very end of the game, I began experiencing serious lag spikes during combat sections in the open areas. This significantly hurt my enjoyment and motivation to continue playing and finish the game. However, by that point, I still felt that I had gotten my money's worth from the game. Overall, the game was a fun and enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.
bioshock esque game, decent graphics, made me jump a couple times. good punchy sound effects :P and its a game u can pick up, beat and either move on or keep going with new alternate runs. i like that...not a bloated game for time padding sake.
The gameplay is simple yet addictive, and the atmosphere is incredibly well done. Thomas, you nailed it!
A pretty fun linear shooter that doesn't overstay its welcome. The story is kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and definitely kind of falls apart near the end, but it's still a fun ride regardless. The gameplay slowly introduces mechanics throughout the entire campaign to feel very enjoyable and what I've gotten through so far of New game Plus offers fun secondary route through the twisted Castle that changes things up enough to feel warranted to go through again. This game screams 2011 video game design both for the best and for the worst, so if you are into things like BioShock infinite, singularity, ect. This should be a pretty good time for you, very reasonably priced as well for the experience you're getting.
