It's a nice little Carne shooter. Didn't care much for the backstory or the letters, but it adds to the ending if you read enough of them. The ending is not what i expected at all lol, and there is a second playthrough with a different ending but haven't done it yet. Overall I thought the game had it's charm and i love the little quirky sayings the enemies have, so well done on the flavor at least. The gameplay mechanics themselves arent too bad, and i didnt particularly feel bored while doing anything. My biggest complaint is the lack of any bosses whatsoever besides the final one. This is the type of game that screams for different bosses, and the platform was definitely there to make some but the dev decided not to add any. Big miss IMO. The ending boss is alright and its more mechanic based rather than health bar which is fine but, it left a lot to be desired. Overall for a solo dev project largely it looks like, its a solid game and im not hating, just wish there was more to it then killing the same couple guys in every room till you get to the end. 7/10 for a solo indie ; 6/10 as a game in general.

Its a really fun game for the price. It reminds me of Bioshock when it comes to the atmosphere. You dont have powers though, just standards gun upgrades and each weapon has a special ability so to speak. Overal its an enjoyable game for that price, slight annoyance is that I have to hold the button to spring or crouch and havent found a way to change that, buts thats the only annoying part. Voice acting is good enough, but the main character is a bit bad. Not so bad you gonna get annoyed though.

A solid retro style shooter worth your time and money. This is how you do a solid shooter on a tight budget. It dose'nt have the bells and whistle of a big production but it still manages to be really good. I hope these guys get to make a sequel, maybe with more budget next time around, would be very interesting to see. I dont appreciate hearing that AI was used in the game and it does kind of help explain why some of the assets look the way they do. Rather scale it down further than bloat a bunch of AI-slop in there The good: * The setting/environment is interesting and cool * The story and characters keept me interested through out the game * Good game progression, you unlock new guns or skills along the way keeping things fresh until the end * Solid shooting * Interesting level design The not so good: * Assets do feel like they were on a budget, expect some low res textures and models through out the game * General feels like it could have been bit more polished * Its quite short

We have Bioshock at home, but much better than I was expecting - really recommend it!

Love the story, music, and atmosphere. Right up my alley!
