I gotta admit I wasnt too sure what to expect with this. But the game surpassed anything I could of have thought. I know there was mention of it being a bit like Bioshock and I can see that 100%. The combat felt good and though the plot twist at the end felt a bit telegraphed pretty early on it did still manage to throw one or two things at me I wasnt expecting. Overall I must say that this game was super fun and worth the price I paid.

First time playing a game like this! I had a lot of fun. Great work! It's really exciting to see how much a indie dev can push their craft!

Tony Stark in a cave making Bioshock 4 out of scraps. Its budget limitations do show, but it's impressive how much Twisted Tower does despite them. Full voice acting. Range of weapons. Good soundtrack. Impressively bug-free all things considered. The storytelling is decent, and manages some punches that tbh the Bioshocks don't. On the other hand, enemy variety is pretty limited. Saving is lackadaisical and checkpoint only. Guns feel pretty impact-less until they're upgraded. There could be a bunch more upgrades. There's *so much* instadeath. But. I'll take a small team making a thing they're passionate about with a budget of half a stick of chewing gum over 99% of what AAA is doing with focus testing and AI and a CEO who gets paid in yachts to fire the team after launch. If this is the future of gaming, sign me up. Get this if you like Bioshock. Maybe get it on sale if you like fps in general---it's still neat, but if you're a boomershooter person this isn't quite that. It's more 00s jank style. Edit: "The only thing that's tight is your bootyhole." What did the final boss mean by this? No, but seriously. Often if a game is horndog it'll be in a predictable way, but here it's just kinda omnidirectional and random. Maybe it has to do with the thing that's happening in the ending? Speaking of which, I rolled credits. People are hating on the ending, but idk where they're coming from with that. It's extremely telegraphed that some sort of other than what it looks like thing is happening, and if the ending didn't follow through on that I would've been massively disappointed. Now, did there need to be c*ckolding and i*cest and mimes? No, I don't think there did, but I'll support an indie committing to their weird vision over a AAA fretting over bothering the shareholders. There's even a new game plus, although afaik it doesn't offer any more closure, it just remixes some levels. If you're not put off by anything here, or the short runtime, I'd grab this on sale. I have no idea what a Twisted Tower II would look like, but I'd like this team to get a chance at making a followup.

Original story, entertaining game!

This is exactly the kind of game I've been waiting years for. Perfect in every way to me. Game of the Year in my book. Now time for New Game +. (Played on my Steam Deck OLED in which it runs perfect)

if you liked the "constrained" FPS gameplay of bioshock you're gonna dig this. pretty damn good
