Turnip Mountain is a physics-based climbing adventure built around a unique control system: each hand is controlled independently.
Play with two mice, one for each hand, to enjoy a natural and satisfying climbing experience - or use a gamepad to control each arm with a different analogue stick. Master your momentum as you grip walls, swing from ropes, launch yourself across gaps and discover your own route to the summit. Every move depends on your skill, making every successful climb its own reward.
A truly unique control system:
Play with two mice at once, with each mouse controlling one hand independently, or use a gamepad with dual-stick controls.
Physics-based climbing:
Grab, swing, push and build momentum to overcome obstacles and reach new heights.
Local co-op mode:
Share the challenge with a friend, with each player controlling just one arm. Use two controllers or 1 controller and a mouse - you choose!
Multiple paths to the summit:
Experiment with different routes, discover shortcuts and find your own way up the mountain for greater replayability.
Unlock cosmetic items:
Collect colour palettes to completely change the visual appearance of your climber. Or collect coins to don some fancy headwear!

A really cute, albeit short, precision-physics game with great visuals & sound. There are mechanics that made me smile and some really clever puzzle elements that I wish were explored just a bit more. The music is catchy and is competently written, but by the end I certainly had my fill of the "AEUIO" vocal patch lead that's used in every song. All the chiptune and retro elements of this game compliment the experience nicely and don't act as a nostalgia crutch. My one "wish" for this game was, rather than the menu-based map screen (or maybe in addition to it), there could have been interactive screens transitioning from one stratum to the next where you need to use the turnip's controls. I also wasn't hugely into the 3D in-game assets - the game really shines as a 2D experience and it felt a bit corny to see 3D models squashed down to the pixel grid. These are nitpicks - overall, I recommend it - more than fairly priced at a cup-and-a-half of US coffee. Really nice game that stayed on my mind for days.
Turnip Mountain is a totally delightful climbing game, with a beautifully simple pixel artstyle and a super fun soundtrack to wrap it up. The character moves super intuitively (for me on controller at least!), and coming from a background of someone who actually ENJOYED Getting Over It, I'm appreciating the skill based mastery you can exhibit with this turnip. I love how the mechanics develop throughout the game in progressively unexpected ways, but the core climbing skill you build throughout keeps everything manageable even when it starts getting really crazy in the later levels; And I never found myself slowing down for long to learn something new! I haven't quite finished it yet (one more level) but I'm hoping theres some extra challenging segments for me to get into, theres also the speedrunning aspect which I might give a go!

I have had an absolute blast playing this! I cannot wait to get back to it. Such a cool game with solid mechanics. Every time I was like "wow this game is cool!" Something even cooler happened
Goob sounds, Goob climb. Total hand workout. Gotta Turnip.
Really fun platformer with unique mechanics, which there aren't enough of these days! Great music, nice chunky graphics, and little things like the colour palette changing system really make it. They really put the effort in for this one!
lovely artstyle, great music and a swell movement feel.
