Does not work with the Vive-ProWorked (ok with Vive Original). No Planetary bodies are visible in Tour Mode. Can't recommend unless fixed.
I tried both guided tour and free modes, there was no planet or any other space stuff except the space background and the ship. It doesn't seem as a simple loading error. In guided tour mode, A narrator explains about a planet which seems to be I am orbiting around, but no visual except an empty space. There is something serious bug with this game.
It renders no planet on my oculus quest 2
Great space game which can be slightly scary. Especially when you're flying into the storms of Jupiter. You can actually watch the storms on planets and land on them.
This has to be the best thing that has ever happened to me. What a shame that the VIVE PRO cannot display this properly. This game is now obsolete. None of the developers care. Wow... what a damn shame.
I very much enjoyed this title when I first got it a couple years ago when I first got my HTC Vive. Unfortunately, it seems the dev team have abandoned this title since there are many complaints in this game's forums mentioning that the moons and planets do not appear when in tour mode, I agree, I just got a Samsung Odyssey Plus (Windows Mixed Reality) and I'm having that problem too. In the forums, I haven't seen any comment from the Dev team about possibly fixing this title. This is so unfortunate for a pretty cool title. DO NOT waste your money on this title, chances are it will not work for you, Vive Pro, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality users are all complaining about this problem.
This one is very very good for VR, simple but effective. Totally worth it.
HORRIBLE HORRIFIC NIGHTMARE OF A GAME. IF you have the Mixed Reality Headset don't get it, there are NO PLANETS. Let me say this again, THERE ARE NO PLANETS!!!!!!!! I restarted the game three times messed around with the graphics settings and still NO PLANETS. The announcer is telling me you are now one mile from Mars, or a few kilometers from Jupiter, REALLY?????? I DONT SEE ♥♥♥♥!!!!!! WORST GAME EVER.
Pretty amazing. Would love to see more realistic graphics, but the experience of flying around all solar system objects is pretty great. The HUD and UI could use some work as well, so is the dead-voice of a robot, reading Wikipedia pages.
Basically, no planets in space would render. Also, listing Valve Index under supported headsets is extremely disingenuous, as the controls were clearly not optimized in any way for the Index. Refund requested.
