Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I almost didn't buy this game after wanting it forever because of the reviews complaining about how boring it is, how it's not enough battles with too much exposition, and how you had to wait 4 chapters for the game to actually get interesting. I was flabbergasted when I started playing and the chapters flew by. They weren't long at all so even if the first 4 were awful (they weren't) it wouldn't have been a big deal at all to truck through them. Yet a lot of the reviews a person will see when they click on the store page act like they were getting their teeth pulled while playing this game. This game is not perfect and I'm not finished with it yet but if you are thirsty for tactics/strategy game this will definitely fill that need. EDIT- Finished the "true" route and thought the characters made a ton of stupid/infuriating choices and the story overall was pretty poor. I still had a really good time playing the game though so I don't regret the purchase.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I gave this thumbs up because Steam unfortunately has only a binary rating system, but really this is like 55% thumbs up and 45% thumbs down. What's good: - Character sprites (among the very best ever done) - Tactical Combat - Story (it's like a Game of Thrones JRPG, completely focused on rival nations and politics full of schemers and deceivers) - The Scales of Conviction (such a cool game mechanic for turning this into a choose-your-own-adventure story) What's okay: - Music (a few very good tracks, but overall not enough variety and it gets repetitive) - The battle maps (Not enough variety, you will replay the same maps many times throughout the game) What's bad: - Grueling slog (battles are long, and you are always underleveled for story combat so you have to spend many hours doing the practice battles to get up to the right level, it's incredibly tiring) - The game doesn't actually provide you with everything you need to max out characters on a playthrough - There's no cool pre-last-battle optional secret stuff to do. In fact, setting up the final battle doesn't unlock ANYTHING at the encampment, it was such a disappointment. Overall, I'm glad I played this, but I have no interest in touching New Game +. This game is definitely not for everyone, especially those looking for a nostalgic JRPG experience.
While the core gameplay is great; with the magic system affecting the terrain of the battle map you're in and the unique set of skills tailored to each character; the surrounding elements of this game leave much to be desired as an HD-2D tactics game. The English translation is walking on a thin line between medieval speech and modern when it came to its story, and the voice acting performance following it leaves much to be desired. The Japanese dub may have been well performed -I'm not proficient speaking the language- but the very nature of it clashes with the world setting that leaves me wanting this game to placed in a medieval Japanese setting if I were to select this dub. The progression of the game -that is, how the story presents itself- feels so slow at the beginning that you would be forgiven for not getting past the first 4 chapters. The hook to the story comes as slow as a snail, biding time that casual players might not have the time to spend. If the game were to start us off on the immediate chaos of an invasion and then slowly tells us the story of how it came to that moment over the first four chapters through the use of character interaction, it can sell me very effectively what and why i should care for these characters and their setting. To conclude, if you are a fan of the core gameplay and can tolerate the lacking dub quality of the eng translation, then you will find this game proper good. But if you wanted to find a JRPG tactics game, rich in theatrical performance and character building, you will find the former disappointing and the latter testing your threshold for good dubbing.
Triangle Strategy is a tactical RPG that masterfully combines classic turn-based combat with a gripping political drama set in the fractured continent of Norzelia. You step into the shoes of Serenoa Wolffort, the noble heir caught in a web of alliances, betrayals, and resource-driven conflict between salt and iron factions. The game places a strong emphasis on story and player choice, weaving intricate relationships and moral dilemmas that directly impact how the narrative unfolds. These choices aren’t just cosmetic — they shape the fate of entire houses and the alliances you can forge or break. The combat is a thoughtfully designed grid-based system that rewards strategic planning and clever use of terrain. Elevation and positioning are key elements, with high ground offering significant advantages, while obstacles and cover play a tactical role in movement and attack options. Each character brings unique abilities and roles, encouraging experimentation and customization to find synergistic team setups. The battles strike a balance between challenge and accessibility, with encounters that push you to think several moves ahead without overwhelming you with complexity. One of the game’s standout features is the “Scales of Conviction” system, which introduces a dynamic layer of decision-making by having you debate and persuade your allies on critical matters. These moments add weight to the story by making you actively negotiate your moral standpoint, affecting who stays loyal and what story branches open up. While innovative and engaging, the system can sometimes feel a bit unclear, leaving players unsure why certain choices sway characters or outcomes in unexpected ways, which may require some trial and error. Visually, Triangle Strategy impresses with its unique HD-2D style, blending nostalgic pixel art characters with rich 3D backgrounds and beautifully rendered environments. The attention to detail creates a vivid world that feels alive, from bustling towns to war-torn battlegrounds. The atmospheric soundtrack enhances the emotional tone throughout, featuring stirring orchestral arrangements that complement both quiet story moments and intense battles, drawing players deeper into the experience. The game’s pacing is deliberate, with a strong focus on narrative and dialogue, especially in early chapters, which may feel slow to some players. However, this slow burn allows for a more immersive experience as you become invested in the characters and political intrigue. Combat sequences gradually ramp up in intensity and complexity, keeping the gameplay fresh as new mechanics and enemy types are introduced. Overall, Triangle Strategy delivers a rich and rewarding tactical RPG experience that appeals to fans of story-driven strategy games. Its blend of meaningful choices, deep combat mechanics, and captivating art style make it a memorable journey through a war-torn world filled with shifting loyalties and high stakes. While it demands patience and attention to its layered systems, the payoff is a nuanced and immersive adventure that stays with you long after the final battle. Rating: 8/10
The game is pretty fun overall. The graphics look nice, and the voice acting and sound are good. But the story and the characters aren’t very interesting to me. It’s not a bad game. Nothing is really broken or frustrating. The problem is that for an RPG, I expect the story to make me want to keep playing and feel curious about what happens next. When the main story doesn’t grab me, I start to lose interest. Because of that, I got bored and didn’t really feel like continuing the game. If you care more about visuals and gameplay, you might still enjoy it, but if you play RPGs mainly for the story, this one might feel a bit dull.
I knew there was lots of talking, so I expected an interesting plot and characters. It has neither. Simple boring caricatures saying dumb boring things while a nonsense plot unfolds. I can't care about a plot that's driven by arbitrary nonsense like a kingdom raising an army, marching to another nation's capital, and conquering it overnight. You can't build a story of political intrigue on sand. The gameplay is fine, but nothing special. I wouldn't recommend it on its own, it's definitely not worth sitting through hours of dialogue.
Pros: + Insanely fun turn-based combat with several battles you have to be really strategic to win + Fascinating story that spans the entire in-game continent + Challenging choices that have real consequences and shape the end of the game + Interesting conviction mechanic that shapes dialogue options and major story outcomes Cons: - The dialogue can be stiff and awkward, which makes it harder to get emotionally attached to the characters. - Cut scenes are sometimes stacked one after another, and you can't save during them, so if you stayed up late to finish a fight, you're going to get stuck wading through dialogue scenes after and staring at the clock tick later.
