About
Transporter is the next step in the classic transport sim genre. Modern transport game with classic, old-school grid environment, and newest features and options. Combining realistic simulation with indie style to create a game that is easy to pick up and get into, but with enough depth and variety to remain interesting and satisfying for experienced transport sim players.
Create new transport routes on rail, road and water. Stock industries with raw materials. Drive the production and economy. Deliver materials and cargo to consumers. Supply power plants to generate electricity. Watch cities grow, deliver their passengers across large maps, and build your own transport company.

Utilize the latest technological advancements, like maglev trains, experimental hydrogen-powered locomotives, and electric autonomous vehicles to transport your cargo.
Dive into new features, like unique station types and cargo refrigeration, or create fully functional rail switching yards, customizable multi-trailer truck rigs with different trailers, or river barges with up to 9 different barges.
Combine all types of transport to create the most efficient transport infrastructure and build your perfect transport world.
Transporter offers more transport options than any other game. From simply letting the game automatically decide what cargo to transport based on vehicle route, detailed orders for each destination, to micromanaging orders for each individual car.

Did you ever feel passenger transport options in other transport sim games were a bit lacking, compared to the plethora of options given to cargo transport? Then fret not, because Transporter is here to change that.
Using a destination-based system, intercity passengers spawn separately for each city. It will require the creation of robust transport networks to connect every town. You can also easily create specific lines for each destination, create passenger transfer stations, or let the system decide automatically.
Passenger trains can also transport new baggage cargo alongside passengers and utilize special railcar types, like sleepers, cafés, and diners for long-distance transport.

Transporter comes with over 70 different industries and over 50 types of cargo to transport (and more to come). From farms and mines to modern industries, like Material Recovery Facility that process recyclables or Electric Arc Furnace, which require electricity to turn scrap metal into steel, this variety ensures each new game offers new challenges to overcome.
Whether you decide to transport passengers with high-speed trains, transform raw materials into solar panels for a new solar farm, or deliver pharmaceutical material to a local hospital is up to you.
Play the game in Freeplay Mode with all options unlocked or build your company from the ground up in the Career Mode. Unlock new transport options and upgrades through research. Stations, vehicles, and industries gain experience and unlock new upgrades or improve stat as the game progresses.

Game features custom-made procedural terrain generation with tons of options to give you full control to create an endless variety of large maps for you to conquer. Maps currently support up to 768x768 tiles.
Not satisfied with the map you created? No problem. Edit them to your liking or create your own maps from scratch in the Level editor or create Scenarios with different goals and rules to create your own unique challenge.

The game looks good and interesting, but it has a lot of issues. mainly with routing vehicles.New vehicles don't work after copying a route. won't return to depot, vehicle stops on road, with no solution to why it's stopping. it's not ready for production and I should not have purchased it...
I'd give this a hesitant thumbs up. The game had a lot issues when it first launched, especially with pathfinding. But it feels like some some solid progress has been made in the last few updates and it is in Early Access (not that that's an excuse for a bad game, but it does apply to unfinished games that are still being actively developed ). The game itself incorporates a number of ideas from other games, as well as some new ones: specialized station types for different cargoes, train crew and station staff gain experience and stations actually have an upgrade tree based on the experience, business have designated customers and suppliers, so you often have to get creative in how you connect them, consumers in towns don't care where goods come from, but they are happier if there are multiple suppliers to give them a choice of products, towns and cities need not only goods to grow but also the materials to build with, your company gains expertise in areas it works in (if you run mostly trains, you're not going to get much experience in trucking, but you can eventually unlock enough train and cargo upgrades to make your railroad much more efficient. The opposite is true if you do most of your business with trucks or buses). I've been playing transport games since the original Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon was only available on 5.25" disks. I feel like the genre has stagnated and most new titles are simply more of the same with a different name. Very little has changed other than graphics quality and the amount of vehicles you can run without lag since the original Transport Tycoon, which is why OTTD is still so popular. I hope this game succeeds in mixing things up a bit.
Is it fun? yes. A buggy piece of ♥♥♥♥? yes. But is it still fun? Yes.

It's fun I find it fun but the rail building system is ass
Sadly i cannot recommend at this state. Lets start from pros: - Synty assets that i love - Great art, shaders, LUT, Gamma, "warmth", charming, simplicity of polygon - Promising transport tycoon heritage - but only promising (Unfortunately, I don't believe in any promises in today's world) Cons: - this is not even alpha stage, too early published - many bugs and crashes making game unstable - freezing save system, very very very very very slow map generation (map generation can be forgiven in EA) - track and road building - WT* is that? For me as transport tycoon game lover this function as it is there, its so bad that simply does not exist at all. You will spend so much time to simply connect 2 stations if they are not in straight line. Track building was the cause for game refund. Rest things and early access i can forgive to support development but this is just unacceptable as it is, these are the torments of hell, its like going back 30 years with any standards of UX. I will be happy to support, play and recommend this title but only when critical issues and UX will be on right tracks and playable. Game have huge potential. As others wrote: Too soon.
Parádní tycoon to bude, jenom ať vývojáři vydrží. Detaily vlaků jsou pěkné a tahle grafika mi nevadí. Dávám 3,5 * .
It feels so empty. I'm sorry, I could only play for 10 minutes.
Looks like it has very good potential but, is currently too buggy to be fun to play. If the developer keeps going, i think it will be worth trying again in a few months. I hope they get enough support with the early access $ to make it into a great game.
