About
Sharpen your critical thinking skills in this quiz game that challenges you to spot rhetorical fallacies.

You know how sometimes people try to persuade you by using misleading or incorrect reasoning? That's what we call fallacies. By mastering Fallacy Quiz you might get better at spotting them.

Being more adept at identifying deceptive arguments helps you recognize when someone is trying to manipulate you. This skill is key to prevent yourself from being misled or swayed in everyday situations!

In the game, you'll be presented with various statements and asked to determine if they are valid or invalid. In harder levels, you will need to identify the specific fallacy that is being employed. The faster and more accurately you identify each fallacy, the higher your score!
You can even play the game locally with your friends thanks to a local multiplayer mode, you can play with a friend using only one keyboard, or you can plug controllers to have up to four players!

As your skills improve, so too will your ability to discern between logical and illogical arguments in real-life situations! You also have access to an in-game glossary of close to fifty fallacies. Be better equipped to avoid being manipulated by flawed reasoning. Put on your thinking cap, and get ready to challenge your mind in Fallacy Quiz!

Only a few minutes in and already I've found: 1. Multiple arguments that don't actually represent the fallacy they claim to 2. Incomplete or confusing definitions 3. Some really clumsy sentence construction It's a shame. This is a great idea for a game. They just needed to hire an actual writer to proofread. They could even probably catch some of the subjective/misrepresented fallacies through user testing. Or better yet why not consult an actual logician if you're going to go through all the trouble to make the game. If you do play it, I would suggest looking up the definition of each idea on your own after each round. It's still useful as an exposure to lots of interesting concepts.
Great game, too expensive

I feel smarter but all my friends stopped hanging out with me because they say I'm "too annoying to talk to now", but who's gonna tell them when they are making logical fallacys now? their loss
I've gotten exponentially more annoying both on discord and in real life since playing this game. 10/10
fun, not worth 15 tho
The UI is excellent. Since this is mainly a quiz game, there should be a lot of questions. But I've got the "You've seen it all" achievement 2 hours in...
This game is on par with many disappointing YouTube trivia videos I have spent 90 seconds and zero dollars on. The questions have very little to do with deciphering logic and are instead a quiz about definitions of obscure fallacies.
I quite enjoyed the game, but wouldn't have bought it at full price. With further updates and more content I could justify the price tag, but after reaching 100% completion in 99 minutes, I recommend it, just not without a sale on.
A fun couple hours learning about different types of fallacies. (This will probably make me a more insufferable conversationalist but I am happy and free)
