For those of you who bought this through the GBRJ pack and didn't get the 801 and the 3 scenarios for it in TS, it's a really simple fix: Go to the main GBRJ install folder (for me that's D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\GBRJ but it will likely be different for you) then go into the "Assets" folder, then "DTG" and copy the folder named "Class801Pack01" to the same location in your Train Sim (RailWorks) folder (for me that's D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\DTG). Next go back to the GBJ and go into the folder named "Content" then "Routes" and finally (and crucially) the folder named "00000029-0000-0000-0000-000000002014" and copy the AP file "ECMLSClass801Pack01Scenarios" and paste it in the equivalent directory in your Train Sim (RailWorks) folder (again for me it's D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Content\Routes\00000029-0000-0000-0000-000000002014). Once you do that, both the 801 and its scenarios should be available in Train Simulator for you. Hope this is helpful!
Missing the class 801 from the DLC.
xD...
Just know that if you want this plus more, go for the Great British Railway Journeys + TS DLC bundle and then refund just GBRJ. Due to an oversight, you'll keep the DLCs for Train Simulator that were included in the bundle and still get your money back.
If you have the Flying Scotsman then this route is for you. There is lots of detail, plenty of scenarios and the 801 comes with it now. Once I downloaded I had the scenarios that came with it, but after a few hours coming back to it, I suddenly found 10 extra Flying Scotsman scenarios. The 'speeding' warning come up before I reach the next number of miles-per-hour, but I can live with it. If you like having a go at building or editing routes then this route has a split in the line with one that is not fully built. However, I was excited to find that the track was already laid, with the elevation, cuttings, platform/sidings/destination markers, signals (including ground ones), etc.. There are 11 extra stations down that part, inc., Hertford North, which are included in the list of route markers in map mode. Even if you don't have Google Maps overlay, there are the free Google Earth and Maps to build that part of the route. I will eventually clone the route and build scenery and stations and make my own scenarios to travel down the east part of the route. The graphics shuddered at first until I lowered the detail level and tried x64 version of TS-C. My card is only GTX 1660 TI but it plays it well enough to enjoy. I am not worried about Gold levels and usually clone the scenarios and then convert them to Standard ones. If your unhappy with 200 points at each station then clone the scenario and edit it with 250 points, then you can get 3 gold stars for driving brilliantly. The bends in the track at 125mph are not tilted, this swings the balance over to the red area. I might try to clone the route and see if I can tilt them. It might make game-play better, but it depends if it was built using the 'Easements' tool.
100% Would recommend. I bought this DLC not realising it was one of the classic routes, but didn't notice as the detail and quality does not look like that of 2013. The 125 Set included is of better quality than the European Loco & Assets pack 125 set as the audio and physics of the train are much better. Overall, a very good addon, worth the price as not only do you get a good route but you get th likes of the class 801, 365 and the Class 43.
I bought this DLC as part of the GBRJ pack which said that all trains/routes would be available in Train sim 2021. This route is supposed to come with class 801 prorotype but when going into trainsim 2021 found that this train is missing. 801 at 8:01 scenario not working due to missing vehicle. Extremely disappointed. Update I finally have the 801 but had to manually move the 801 asset folder to my TS dir beware!!
更新:在https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com/support/home跟DTG说了一下,发给我一个激活码,没801的可以在这跟DTG说一下 我买的GBRJ捆绑包,然后连个801都没,大概是被dtg吃了吧
Very good, is what I have to say about this DLC, it is simply beautiful, It contains 3 trains, HST, BR Class 801 and Class 365 in First livery, the route is the first part of the ECML From London Kings cross and peterbourgh (77 Miles) the stations are very well detailed, also the route supports Quick Drive Things I didn't like: -The HST should have a real-life livery, and the one it has in the DLC in my opinion is very ugly and that the HST only has one stage, I don't like it -Class 801 has the same problem as HST: A HORRIBLE LIVERY, but Class 801 fortunately has more scenarios than HST -Another small problem with the route is that some platforms are a bit small, so the Class 365 doesn't fit completely, but it's something that doesn't affect the experience much.(This problem is only with Double Class 365) Things I liked: -The three trains that the route contains are incredible with impeccable sound effects and very detailed cabins and interiors. -All the Stations are very well detailed -The route has a very good distance and is not boring. -It has a very low price for what the route contains, for only 10USD you get one of the best British TSC routes Very good DLC I recommend it for fans of the ECML and fans of British routes
