Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Break free of the grid in Town to City: a cozy city builder that invites you to create a beautiful and bustling community.
Freely place houses, shops, and amenities and natural elements to delight your residents and encourage new families to move in. As your population grows, so can your ambitions: create multiple towns that can grow alone or thrive together, helping the whole region develop and prosper.
In story or sandbox mode, you're free to build at your own pace, placing each flower bed with pixel precision, or prioritise growing your economy and developing your town into a thriving city.
Truly grid-less building sets you free to lay out your town however you like. Plan out carefully ordered rows of houses and city districts, or grow outwards organically with residences, amenities, parks and plazas connected by winding streets and alleys. Freely shape the land beneath your feet with terraforming tools for elevation, water, and terrain.
Beautify your settlement to your heart's content with a plethora of customisation options. Set up lighting, plant flowers and wooded parks, and decorate houses and buildings to complement or contrast. With gorgeous voxel graphics as a base and plenty of tools for fine-tuning, it's easy to create something beautiful that you'll want to capture with the in-game photo mode or stroll through in first-person view.
As your town flourishes, you’ll need to meet the needs of your growing population. Provide amenities that will cater for everyone – from workers to artisans and the bourgeoisie – alongside specific requests by individual residents. Get to know each person as they arrive in town, and watch them settle down to form new families in the homes you built for them with pets and livestock by their side.
Assign workers to jobs, research new buildings and decorations, and boost your sleepy settlement into a bustling centre of commerce. As you expand beyond the bounds of your first town, you'll pursue new developments in farming and tourism by building new towns, all connected by trade and travel routes.

The core gameplay here is actually really fun and it is easy to lose hours building your town. Being able to pause time just to focus on decorating is great and working through the progression tiers to shape the terrain and grow your town into a city feels super rewarding. Pros Relaxing build phase: The ability to pause time and focus purely on aesthetics and terrain customization is a huge plus Satisfying early loop: Upgrading your town through the early tiers is genuinely engaging and easy to sink time into Cons Awful performance scaling: Performance tanks hard right after the third location with massive FPS drops and wild CPU temperature spikes Frustrating design shift: Progression stops being about growing a community of families and suddenly forces you to manage "artisan" happiness instead. It shifts from organic town design into managing class stratification and labor demands Game-breaking lag: Barely 7 hours in at city level the basic mechanics stop running smoothly. Since a city is built to expand poor performance is guaranteed the longer you play I really wanted to finish this game but the performance makes it impossible. If the city is only bound to grow then the performance is only bound to get worse. Avoid until performance fixes drop.

It's a lovely game in which you'll lose hours upon hours enthralled in the never-ending cycle of expanding and refining your ideal Mediterranean town and I would love to recommend it. HOWEVER, the first disappointment quickly arrives as you first load into the game and notice how your system and GPU fans ramp up. The game definitely looks stunning for this artstyle but it unfortunately demands more power than I am personally comfortable with a game of this type needing, with my GPU immediately reaching 100% utilization. The second disappointment is the stability of the game. Something I can live with is the occasional odd crash to desktop but what I cannot accept is a game BSOD-ing and rebooting my system upon attempting to load the second location. It really pains me to do so but I'll probably have to shelve this wonderful game until the devs get their stability in order.
I loved this game! Being able to walk around the town I decorated and built felt so interactive and cute!
