Total War: ROME REMASTERED lets you relive the legacy that defined the award-winning strategy game series. Remastered to 4K with multiple improvements to visuals as well as refinements to gameplay, it’s time to revisit a true classic. Not everyone gets a second chance to conquer the Roman Empire.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Aug 16 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

As someone who started Total War with Attila, it's quite good. Although I'd have personally expected hoplites to be a little more efficient at killing cavalry, but whatever it is, will do. Plus points are ability to micromanage and forts, which is missing from modern total war. Shogun 2 allows no-general armies as well that you can do to heavily fortify settlements, but they also have free garrison. Here you pay for all your garrison, unlike Medieval 2. I also like how height greatly affects your ranged units. Certainly VERY nice. Downsides are replayability and tediousness. At some point your armies seem to move too slowly for the map. Lack of visibility without towers makes tracking "stray hostile armies" in newly captured provinces too difficult. Lack of auto-replenishment like it happens in newer games is also quite annoying for people like me who came from newer games. Overall I'd suggest it. Good game even if you're a newer non-Warhammer player.
The battle screen is cluttered with arc's of fire, movement range and no you cant switch to the original view when on campaign .
great game, especially when wanting a break from shooters
First strategy wargame that has obsessed me, and it is so entertaining and fun. Especially if you're a history nerd, this is a joy to play.
Awesome game, all the mods available make this game even better. A true classic of strategic warfare gaming.
THIS game is pretty hard even on easy , you will lose often your army , money and cities. They give AI too much power and it gets complicated with the economy system with its politics in the campaigns. gameplay is good but these issues in this game is frustrating.
