⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Meisterhaftes Survival-Horror-Erlebnis – genau das, worauf Fans gewartet haben! Tormented Souls 2 schafft es, das Gefühl der klassischen Survival-Horror-Spiele perfekt einzufangen und gleichzeitig modern genug zu wirken, um auch heute zu begeistern. Die Atmosphäre ist von der ersten Minute an unglaublich dicht: düstere Schauplätze, bedrückender Sound und eine permanente Anspannung sorgen dafür, dass man sich nie wirklich sicher fühlt. Besonders gefallen haben mir die clever gestalteten Rätsel. Sie sind anspruchsvoll, aber fair und belohnen aufmerksames Erkunden und Mitdenken. Genau so sollte Survival Horror sein – keine simplen Markierungen oder ständiges Händchenhalten, sondern echtes Knobeln. Auch die Kämpfe fühlen sich bewusst fordernd an. Munition ist knapp, jede Begegnung will gut überlegt sein und Ressourcenmanagement spielt wieder eine wichtige Rolle. Dadurch bleibt die Spannung durchgehend hoch. Grafisch überzeugt das Spiel mit liebevoll gestalteten Umgebungen, tollen Lichteffekten und detailreichen Charaktermodellen. Zusammen mit dem hervorragenden Sounddesign entsteht eine Atmosphäre, die einen komplett in ihren Bann zieht. Die Geschichte entwickelt sich spannend und hält einige überraschende Wendungen bereit. Fans der ersten Teile klassischer Horror-Reihen wie Resident Evil oder Silent Hill werden sich hier sofort zuhause fühlen. Für mich ist Tormented Souls 2 ein Paradebeispiel dafür, wie moderner Survival Horror aussehen sollte: atmosphärisch, herausfordernd und mit viel Herzblut entwickelt. Wer klassische Horror-Spiele liebt, sollte sich diesen Titel auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Absolute Empfehlung – 10/10!

A really good Hommage to the Resident Evil Franchise! However the only thing i dislike is the Limited Save Possibilities Ingame at the Standard Difficulty. I think this shouldve been in the Higher One

This is one of those sequels that knows exactly what it wants to be. It doesn't try to reinvent the classic survival horror formula – it simply doubles down on everything that made the first game work. And honestly? That's exactly what I wanted. Just like its predecessor, this feels like a love letter to the golden age of the genre. If you grew up with [i]Resident Evil[/i], [i]Silent Hill[/i], or [i]Alone in the Dark[/i], like I did, you'll immediately feel at home wandering through eerie locations, managing your limited resources, solving ridiculously elaborate puzzles, and nervously opening every door hoping nothing is waiting on the other side. The atmosphere is fantastic once again, with plenty of twisted, grotesque environments and creatures that look like they escaped from someone's worst nightmare. One thing I found amusing was how the story evolved. The first game started with zombie-like experiments and mad science, but this time things gradually spiral into full-blown cosmic horror. I definitely wasn't expecting such a strong Cthulhu-inspired direction, but it fits surprisingly well and gives the sequel its own identity instead of simply retreading the same ground, in my opinion. Of course, it's still very much an old-school survival horror game, which means it also inherits the genre's less charming habits we all know painfully well. The fixed camera angles can make combat harder than it needs to be, and the controls are occasionally a little clunky and unresponsive. Sometimes I lost a fight because I made a mistake, and sometimes because Caroline decided she wasn't quite interested in aiming where I wanted… Well, that's part of the experience, I suppose! The puzzles are absolutely ruthless in places. I enjoy difficult puzzles in survival horror games, but there were definitely a few moments where I stared at the screen wondering what kind of evil genius designed them this time around… Thankfully, solving them is incredibly satisfying, and the game rewards exploration with plenty of collectibles and multiple (well, two) endings, giving completionists like me another excuse to search every corner. In the end, this sequel delivers pretty much everything I hoped for. It has all the strengths – and yes, all the flaws – of classic fixed-camera survival horror. If you loved the first game or simply miss the days when survival horror was more about atmosphere, puzzles, and tension than constant action, this is an easy recommendation. My soul may have been tormented once again… but I had a great time!

If you like survival horror games with fixed camera angles then this game is made for you. The combat is solid and the puzzles are mostly reasonable.

Идеальное продолжение первой части. Очень понравилось. Особенно порадовали новые персонажи и оружия, только патрон на ручную пушку слишком мало, всего 2-3 в зависимости от сложности. Очень понравилась возможность менять костюмы. Сюжет хоть и раскрыл большую часть вопросов, но появились новые. Жду третью часть с нетерпением.
