I didn't enjoy it right off the bat, clunky controls maxed out graphics and looked like a dated arcade game from the 90's i wouldn't recommend this game even on sale for 5 or 10 bucks. didn't take long for me to request a refund cause it looks better then it plays and was never worth 60 dollars
An arcade racer that understands what made that genre such a classic on the PS2. It knows exactly what it is. If you're in the lane for such a game, there's really no better choice. Especially on a sale. Full price is totally justifiable, but easily a steal on sale.
一比一还原东京首都高,这就足够了!
terrible driving physics and really outdated looking graphics - you might like playing trackmania with a keyboard and have more fun
This game is a tribute as well as a successor to the previous TXR games. The outrun style racing is a warm welcome back into the racing scene. Everything from the car selection, modifications availability, scenery, to the gameplay, it's all wonderful and Genki did a great job bringing back the game in a much more refined and fresh form. Racing down the streets of Japan and encountering normal opponents as well as seeing Wanderers had never been so inviting. Great game, and one worth picking up!
Wow, this game is absolute trash! First off, it crashed on launch. When it did manage to run, it was not at all what I expected from a highly rated racing game. Car physics are absolutely non-existent. The car just seems to hover over the road and glides to the left and right when steering. The graphcis are abysmal and look nothing like the videos and screenshots posted. Textures are bland and basic even on Ultra settings and look like they pulled them out of a PS2 game. Save your money and don't bother with this one. The 20 year old NFS Underground is still a better game than this.
bro Initial D was LYINGGGG the 86 is slow as balls lmfaooo (but great game tho, would be fun to play with friends but MP isn't *always* necessary so I wouldn't say it's a flaw that it doesn't have it, just keep that in mind before buying)
Had this on my wishlist for ages thinking it's like classic Need for Speed per some previous reviews here claiming it as such. It isn't really, it is mostly 1v1 drag races with occasional turns and a grindy feel I wasn't really pulled in by. I think if you're really invested in this style of racing you'll enjoy it, but it isn't for me. Wish I could leave a neutral review as I don't think it's necessarily bad I just think it won't be for every arcade racing fan.
超级无敌好玩.我就喜欢在夜晚的高速上开车.这个游戏使我在家里就能在高速上开车,还免去了油费和高速费.我超级喜欢这个游戏
Today we only see festival games, or sim racing. But With TXR we are finally able to play something. It bring back what made the series so special. And I really hope they continue to create new games, maybe Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift. I don`t usually recommend a game. But I had so much playing this racing game that I had to to.
