This Is the Police

[H3]SHORT[/H3] This is a fantastic management game with an outstanding soundtrack and phenomenal voice acting. The gameplay is primarily intellectual and runs incredibly smoothly. While it could use a few more alternative endings, the game is exceptionally well-rounded and gets my full recommendation, especially when it's practically free at 75% off. [H3]LONG[/H3] Honestly, I didn't expect this game to be this good, especially for the price. This Is the Police is a story-rich management game where your choices truly matter. The narrative hooks you early, and the voice actors do an outstanding job. The soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal and perfectly matches the art style; together, these elements establish wonderfully gloomy vibes. There’s no mechanical challenge here, only intellectual ones: figuring out where to allocate resources, who to help, who to ignore, and, of course, living with the consequences of your actions. All of the mechanics work perfectly, feeling fluid and responsive with absolutely nothing to complain about. At times, the gameplay can feel a bit monotonous, especially when you go days without major story progression and are just managing the station. This is especially noticeable on your first playthrough when you don't know what to expect, but trust me, surprises will come. Besides that, my only real critique is the lack of alternative endings. If it had just two or three additional endings, it would easily be a 10/10. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves well-written stories and great soundtracks. It’s practically free during a 75% sale, will easily run on almost any PC, and is perfect for picking up across multiple sessions if you're short on time. Только что завершил прохождение игры на 100%. Эту игру я люблю и буду ее любить за неплохой сюжет, хороший саунддизайн и узнаваемый комиксный стиль. Прошел я эту игру уже дважды, впервые я смог ее пройти еще полгода назад на пиратской версии. Я был очень рад вновь вернуться во Фрибург, чтобы очистить этот город от банд и мафии. Игра иногда дает заскучать но это бывает редко. Как говорят другие игроки - игра жестока. Пару подростков могут взять и уничтожить отряд из профессионалных бойцов. Даже когда сидалище подгорало, когда долго не мог пройти некоторые дни, когда убивали моих детективов или полицейские писали жалобу за любой косяк(когда я закрыл мафию, они были недовольны уж как, мб skill issue), я все равно еще раз хочу пройти эту серию и вернуться просто по выполнять миссии уже на чиле. Крайне рекомендую пройти эту игру!

前半覺得還算有趣，文本也寫得不錯，帶點黑色幽默，案件豐富，音樂也讚。可惜玩到過半就會覺得是坐牢遊戲，想看結局但沒啥耐心慢慢跑完，玩的當下很納悶真的有需要寫到180天那麼久嗎?轉念一想，也許是讓玩家體驗當警察度過枯燥乏味的每一天吧。只希望二代把缺點改一改。
