Oyun ilk çıktığında ve şirketin battığı dönemde, twdg kitlesi için oldukça kötü olacağı düşünülüyordu. Ancak bunun aksine, öyle bir oyun ortaya çıktı ki bence serinin en iyi ikinci oyunu oldu. Günümüzde grafikleri hâlâ gayet iyi duruyor. Oynanış kısmı çok güçlü olmasa da yeterli seviyede. Hikâye açısından ise muazzam; yapımcılar hiç riske girmeden oldukça iyi ve tatmin edici bir son sunmuşlar. (Ayrıca hiç spoiler yemeden oynarsan, sonunda büyük bir ters köşe ile karşılaşıyorsun.)
I liked how they ended Clementine's story even if I didn't fully liked this season. And in general I do love these games, the first one will always have a special place in my heart.

ЭТО ШЕДЕВР! Этот опыт никак неописуем, даже есть желание перепройти, ведь это ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ серия и я рад что она так закончилась. Атмосфера, история и решения, которые трудно принять(особенно принятия этики и морали при таких условиях заставляют задуматься) делают эту серию незабываемой.
Ну, это какой то позор. Игры этой серии ни когда не были идеальными. Но и хорошее в них всегда тоже было. В финальном сезоне найти хорошее не так то просто. Пару неплохих экшн сцен, пару интересных моральных дилемм, да флешбек с Ли. Всё остальное начиная от визуала и заканчивая сценарием, посредственность либо хуже того. События двигающие сюжет, лишены логики и смысла. Большинство персонажей раздражающие и неприятные. Декорации однообразные и неинтересные. Лучше было бы оставить серию без финала, чем с таким.
