Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Aug 22 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Оооо это лучшая часть. Было стремно что концовка будет слита, но разрабы достойно справились.
Хотя смелости убить Клементину им все таки не хватило.
Ну это и хорошо, иначе бы я перевернула стол
我的肯尼老baby你在哪
cried so much, thank you telltale
This is one of my favorite games of all time and I'm so happy I got to replay it and love it even more after eight years. I'm trying not to spoil because this story hit best when I played it blind for the first time. First thing's first to get it out the way because it's the only big negative I have with this version of the game, this game is clunky as ♥♥♥♥ to play on PC. Originally I had played it on PS4 and I still think that or with a controller is the best way because keyboard is too awkwardly bunched together. Multiple times I meant to press a key or specific combo for the prompts and ended up hitting my caps lock or ctrl or god forbid the windows key all by accident. The muscle memory for the keys just wasn't there and didn't feel that intuitive. Also, on PC there was frame stuttering and lagging that got me killed a few times or was just distracting during dialogue cutscenes. Character's facial features would also visibly snap into place very suddenly when they had to make certain expressions while talking and that kept annoying me once it stopped being funny. The best way to play this is still console but the Steam version is ultimately passable and good for on the go if you have that Steam Deck thing too, just expect some stuttering at times like I described. When the framerate does cooperate it looks gorgeous and fluid. But despite these platform issues this game remains the best Walking Dead game period and you should play it anyway. This was the writers and art directors at the top of their game after the utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was S2 and S3, truly succeeding what was cool about Season 1 and what made it special even if I think it's not as good as Final Season overall. If Season 1 was like a really good draft that knew how to punch up when it had to even between the jank or poor pacing / depth of some parts, then Final Season is the polished manuscript, as polished as it could be because of Telltale's bankruptcy, which is still pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible for the themes and ideas they did fit. So even if I would have liked to see a little more in FS for MORE fleshing out of something that already had me hooked for hours, the themes are more nuanced than they've ever been. The characters are complex and applied very tightly to the narrative's structure and all serve their purpose. The biggest theme about breaking a cycle of death and pain through trust and love that is true, earned, but most importantly unconditional giving life in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up world applies to our world as much as to Clem. By the time I got to the ending again I was stalling myself so that I wouldn't have to leave, to stay in the game that much longer. I almost never feel that invested. I will say I think where a lot of people go wrong with the Telltale games in general and that they're bringing into Final Season when they play it too, is taking what happens way too literally. You're looking at the scenes and what you're doing too literally instead of roleplaying to analyze the logic and emotional mindset behind WHY what's happening is happening and why certain options were given while others aren't. People come into this game not to engage with themes and story and the character acting but just to self insert and try to "prove" they're smarter than a game like they're twelve and everybody on the playground is clutching themselves at what they have to say. That's not how you should engage with any story. You have to let the Final Season in without looking for ways to overpower it as a game and instead see it for the storytelling and emotional, psychological threads it's trying to spin. There's a lot to analyze about race, xenophobia, grief, hope, trauma, trust, love, letting go etc. once you see the art of how the story is using the game to deliver themes and break scenes down with patience. Playing this isn't about YOU. It's about becoming Clementine and empathizing with her and others or choosing who you don't want to care for either but after deciding WHY. Anyway uhh, I LOVE CELM! I LOVE AJ! I LOVE THEIR HEALING! I LOVE THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME! VIOLENTINE FOREVER. MY FINAL MESSAGE. Ok I lied I lied I have to talk about one big spoiler in order to make a point about the themes being so well put together this season so here it is:
The final choice you'll make to trust AJ or not, to tell him to be his own person or not, is the perfect end point for where all the themes across Final Season and from Season 1 meet. Clementine could never remove her mind from the hauntings of her past or make any real peace with it like several characters couldn't (every character that can die in this season is someone who clings on to the past or the old world's ways of ruthless cowardice or idealism without any reality too; all characters who look to the future live by default) even if she fights against it, and if she chooses not to trust AJ she's painting that insecurity and baggage onto him denying him agency in order to stay emotionally chained to her guidance out of selfishness. And this gets Violet or Louis, her symbols of future for herself either as friends or lovers, killed. In exchange for Tennessee, a boy out of place and time who must now make himself fit into their world by trying to abandon his childish idealistic clinging to the past but with no guarantee he can tame his trauma the way people like AJ and Clem do. *I have a lot to say about Tenn but that's a post for my tumblr or an essay on my personal website. As a side I love his character I killed him both times but he's still the best execution of the 'kid character that slows down the group' trope in these games because he's not purely incompetent and underwritten as a piece of shock value; he has a philosophy and beliefs that sadly tie him to the weak parts of himself when it gets too much and that's when he drags others down with him to their deaths. But if Clem trusts AJ recognizing his personhood beyond her control, that he has to exist outside of being her selfish reason to keep living (and I firmly believe if AJ had ever died before Ericson's a purposeless Clem would have killed herself) then he is able to make the hard choices for himself of abandoning the weight of the past once it becomes so heavy and impractical it could take other lives that want to live. It's AJ's knowing when to disobey and assert himself that saves Clem's life in the barn. That is exactly what Lee wanted for Clem, what Clem tries to hold on to with great struggle against a world that eats her humanity away, a whole sense of self. Full agency of self to know who you are not letting the world break you down. And that is one of the reason's Clem lives, because the choice to risk over love this time was stronger than giving into despair. And because there is trust and love a disabled Clem won't just die or be abandoned like the cruel world says she should if she didn't have people who choose to care for her like she does them. All this without even touching on how excellent Minerva is as a foil to Clementine. The Clem that gave up. The one who gave in and let the trauma break her completely until there was nothing human but pure animal looking for a hole to die in. Unlike Clem wanting AJ to live once Minerva gave up she would rather drag Tenn with her because he's not supposed to exist outside of as a possession of hers, "family". These are just a few examples of how deep the game goes with what it wants to say when you think about the meaning to everything and I love it so much. Voice acting from everybody was also 10/10.
one of the best games i've ever played.
