Talos Principle along with its sequel are both masterpieces. Its the definition of the term "thought provoking" not just because of its clever puzzles but also because of its philosophical story. First game in my opinion has the better story but weaker puzzles. Second game handles the puzzles much better since every new area introduces and builds upon new mechanics, it never gets overly complicated as opposed to some of the later levels found in the first game. It might be one of the easiest recommendations i have ever given. If you like puzzles, cryptic and mysterious lores, Talos Principle will hook you almost instantly. Talos Principle is a game to obsess over, a game that you wont forget, an experience worth going through for everyone.
Мне игра не понравилась. Скучная. Загадки порой невыполнимые. Видно , что игру делали разные люди не имея полного согласия.. Одни загадки решаются, а другие нет.
Nice
I know it's a good game when I have only a few minor complaints. Some puzzles are probably a bit too easy but I am enjoying finding the hidden stars. Feels like a mix of The Witness and Portal in a way. EDIT: After coming closer to the end of the game I realized that many of the puzzles are just rinse and repeat of older puzzles, just longer. After the first couple worlds there seems to not be enough new stuff or new gimmics, making the game more of a slog than a puzzle solver. Some solutions are quite easy just long to do, requiring to wait still for long times or run back and forth a bunch. It's not a bad game per se but the first half shines compared to the rest and it's a shame.
Remembered watching my father play this when I was young and did not yet understand English. Essentially all I remembered was the jammer. This game was beyond amazing, and had one of the (if not THE) most well written and conveyed stories of any game I have ever played or watched someone else play. Side note: Also very good puzzles.
Excellent jeu Les énigmes sont très bien faites et exploitent bien les mécaniques mises en place. La progression de la difficulté est très bien gérée. Le jeu est beau, l'histoire est intéressante. L'ambiance est reposante et contemplative.
One of the coolest puzzle games I've played. Really makes you think. Amazing story and atmosphere. 10/10
