Wouldn't recommend. I've played tons of games like this one, all the fromsoft titles, from souls to sekiro to nioh to lords of the fallen and everything in between. All of them have their own things they're trying to do, lot's of them do their thing well, but not this game. First of all the trailers are just straight up lies, i'm not sure why they try and advertise it as some sort of spectacle action title, this is a soulslike- the things they're doing in the trailers are standing outside an enemy's range of attack and pretending they're countering the enemy and whatnot, just blatantly disingenuous. Anyways, this isn't even the good kind of soulslike either, it's the kind that reactionarily looks at dark souls and thinks "oh soulslike is when the game isn't fun" instead of understanding good level design, immersion, and real difficulty is the point. Not bad level design, constant backtracking because of said bad level design that breaks immersion due to the sheer tedium, and artificial difficulty. The strangest part about this game is that it's actually better than most people think- and it's still terrible. For example there's a directional parry mechanic, you can parry high and low attacks. Problem is A. not all attacks are "high" or "low" and B. there's very literally no way to intuit if an attack is even parryable at all in this way outside of experimentation on every single enemy in the game (which due to bad level design and backtracking you won't be doing any of) so you will use it on one enemy that they use to tutorialize the mechanic- and then you will never use it again for the reasons above. The running slide attack, which let's be honest here is pretty much the best thing about this game, actually counts as a low dodge but once again you'll never know when it's actually a dodge outside of a single enemy. And don't get me started on the grinding, you will do so much grinding in order to get equipment to find out what their set effects are- unless you want to use the wiki to solve the problems introduced here and above, which again is indicative of bad design. The contradictory game design just goes on and on. Like I said it looks at dark souls and thinks "oh soulslike is when nothing is explained" when that's not the case, in souls games things aren't *directly* explained, but are designed in such a way that you intuit it anyways. That's good design, this game just doesn't understand and jumped on a bandwagon before knowing what it was doing. And btw if you think they fixed any of these issues in the surge 2 you're wrong, they only added For Honor parrying and also the story in it is terrible, don't bother with the surge duology it'll just disappoint you because you'll want to like these games since so much heart was put into the visual designs, but it just unfortunately isn't good

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

AMAZING
Animacje i mozolność postaci kłują w oczy. Jeśli chcesz dobrego souls-like'a zerknij w stronę Elden Ringa, Lies of P bądź Wukonga. Z tym daj sobie spokój ;) 3/10
you cannot miss what you have never seen before
i like this game
非常不错的机甲类魂,肢解获取装备的设定很新颖,最终boss战还行,结局有点莫名其妙。
terrible combat janky as hell fighting multiple enemies is maybe the most frustrating thing in the world in this game maybe theres a setting i couldnt find but you cant switch between enemies youre targeting because you have to sub-target body parts or some enemies just repair themselves mid fight. you have to click L3 to untarget and then click L3 again to target a new enemy and every corner and corridor has more than 1 enemy, its just tedious unrewarding not very fun gameplay when you add on top all the other soulslike elements like damage scaling and xp loss. you also have to hack off enemy limbs for your armor and weapons so youre constantly subtargeting and wasting time trying to figure out which direction the analog goes because its never the same its unecessary micromanagement. maybe it gets better later when uve built up your stamina bar and do more than 1 or 2 blocks in a row before taking damage but i'll never know
It's decent.
