We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

Reviews
The Sinking City Remastered is a fascinating detective horror game that shines thanks to its eerie atmosphere, unsettling Lovecraft inspired world, and rewarding investigation mechanics. Exploring the flooded city of Oakmont feels genuinely mysterious, and piecing together clues yourself is far more engaging than simply following map markers. That said, the game still carries some of the rough edges of the original release. Combat can feel repetitive and clunky, enemy encounters often become more of an annoyance than a source of tension, and some animations and side activities lack polish compared to modern AAA titles. Overall, The Sinking City Remastered is at its best when it leans into investigation and cosmic horror
I really wanted to at least finish this game, especially since I never write a review halfway through. Unfortunately, I encountered a game-breaking bug that prevented me from progressing in the main story: in the crematory, the stairs are glitched and you can’t go back upstairs. There are many flaws that make this game unenjoyable. The optimization is terrible — I’ve never experienced such a bad framerate in any demanding UE5 game. The combat is extremely basic, and the enemy variety is practically non-existent. There are only a handful of weapons in the game, and you obtain most of them within the first few missions. It also feels pointless to include Infested locations, since you can completely avoid this mechanic and there’s no way to clear them for meaningful rewards. The open-world formula is very poorly designed for a game like this. Having limited resources defeats the purpose of exploration, so what’s left is an empty, lifeless world with little to offer. Instead of encouraging discovery, it just makes quests feel like a chore, as you spend most of your time running from point A to point B. On top of that, this is the first time I’ve ever wanted more hand-holding in a modern video game. Often, you’ll wander around the same building because you missed a non-highlighted object, or you’ll struggle to piece together the correct three keywords based on very little information just to continue the game. And good luck if you take a long break without finishing a quest — you likely won’t even remember how to proceed. I can’t recommend this game, and honestly, I’m almost glad I couldn’t complete it. In the end, it might have been for the best — The Sinking City wasn’t the experience I was hoping for when I bought it.

The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

重制版一上来就送一把冲锋枪?! 爽了! 不过,谁家调查员会随身携带一把冲锋枪? ... 是的,没错 这就是ICE特工大战克苏鲁!!!
The Sinking City: Remastered has a strong concept and a potentially great story, but the experience is dragged down by constant friction. The investigative gameplay - clue hunting, crime scene reconstruction, and resource management - starts off interesting, but quickly becomes repetitive and tedious. Exploration suffers the same fate, with long stretches of empty traversal and little reward. The environment design doesn’t help, often making it unclear what you can climb or navigate, and I even got stuck on geometry multiple times within the first hour. Also, combat is simply unfun. Additionally, the Lovecraftian elements feel more like surface-level references than a cohesive vision. There’s a genuinely engaging story buried here, but the jank constantly pulls you out of it. In the end, it’s a game full of good ideas that just can’t get out of its own way.

I tried my best to like the game, but, alas, I can't. The game mechanics are so utterly boring. From the very start of the game you can feel that the developers stretched the runtime of the game by making you run around like a headless chicken.
I really wanted to give this game a chance, but unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The game's biggest downside is its terrible optimization. Constant stuttering, sudden FPS drops, and technical issues never leave you alone. On top of these technical problems, the game feels like an "indie" production; unpolished and unfinished. The mechanics are incredibly clunky, and the UI is terribly impractical and nonsensically designed. The compass at the top is useless, and getting around the city by boat and on foot without a mini-map feels like torture. The open world is completely meaningless and empty. The NPCs act so ridiculously and artificially that the world has no believability. Even the fog and rain effects, which should support the atmosphere, are ridiculously low-quality. I believe it would have been much more successful if it were a linear game. Another annoying thing is how the game's flow is constantly interrupted by loading screens. A 2-second cutscene, then a loading screen, then another 3-second cutscene, and loading again... This completely breaks your immersion. In short, The Sinking City, just like "Murdered Soul Suspect," is a production that shows how a good idea can be wasted by poor execution. It might appeal to some, but it's not for me.
This was a game that was again recommended to me. And i am happy it was. The city of Oakmont is easily accessible and luckily the transportation when needed is provided. Fast travelling makes navigating a lot easier once the appropriate points are unlocked. The story develops nicely and although it is a detective story, the investigations are not repetitive at all. The game never seems like grinding. While fighting is also an activity in this game, the fights as well as the cases never overwhelm the player so much, that one would miss out important parts of the main story. The ratio of fighting and "investigating" is also nice - one has enough to investigate and the fights only appear occasionally as a "spice" . Navigation and steering the protagonist is a bit "wonky", especially jumping, when escaping places where monsters are are sometimes a little bit challenging but that can be forgiven. To sum up: a very nice remaster of a greta game, which was made with much attention to the story, good voice acting and nice character creation. Definite recommendation.
Круто, що власники оригінальної гри отримали ремастеризоване видання в якості безкоштовного оновлення. Не круто, що гра перестала бачити старі сейви. Прогрес втрачено. А бажання перегравати все з нуля в мене ще не скоро з'явиться...
Bought this on a big sale, still wasn't worth it. The core gameplay loop can seem interesting at first, but the novelty of every aspect wears off very quickly - the LA Noire clue-snooping, mentally recreating crime scenes, the resource management, the navigation and exploration, they all start "neat" and end up mind-numbingly tedious. I don't include the combat in this list because it isn't interesting or fun at any point from beginning to end, which is unfortunate considering how common it is. The lovecraft themes are a collection of surface-level "hey, remember X story?"s hodgepodged together bluntly for you to point and cheer at, just window dressing for a bad lovecraft+LA Noire mashup. The one point I will give the game is in some of the choices it provides - there were several parts where I really wanted to play out a specific, slightly-convoluted solution to a quest, and was pleasantly surprised when such a thing was acknowledged and allowed. Sadly, a very small percentage of quests had any opportunity for such a thing, most were "go here, kill something, look at a dead body", rinse and repeat - bearing in mind that "go here" is 5 or 6 minutes of mindless Shift+W holding with nothing to fill the time or catch your interest. Exploration is pointless, because enemies will respawn when you return, and you'll probably need to go back later to whatever place you're exploring for a quest you can't complete at the moment, so you're wasting your time. Alright, now that I've sunk 18 hours of my life into this game, I can go and watch a different review.
