About
The Outer Worlds 2 is the eagerly-awaited sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment (just look at the exciting number of dashes in this sentence!). Time to clear your calendar – get ready for an action-packed adventure with a new crew, new weapons, and new enemies in a new colony! So much newness!
As a daring and most likely good-looking Earth Directorate agent, you must uncover the source of devastating rifts threatening to destroy all of humanity. Your investigation leads to Arcadia, home of skip drive technology, where the fate of the colony, and ultimately the entire galaxy, rests on your decisions—your strengths, your flaws, your crew, and the factions you choose to trust.
The Arcadia colony is engulfed in a factional war, as the Protectorate’s so-called benevolent rule is challenged by the rebellion of their religious order and a corporate invasion. As destructive rifts spread across the colony, each faction fights to control or close them for their own ends. Navigate diverse zones, uncover hidden lore, and shape the fate of a system on the brink!
Build your character with the abilities and choices that reflect your playstyle. The colony reacts to your every move, crafting a narrative that’s yours to own—whether you’re a disciple of diplomacy, an astute strategist, a crusader for chaos, or something different altogether. And yes, you can dumb!
Recruit companions with unique traits, backgrounds and goals. Whether you choose to help them achieve their ambitions or steer them toward your own objectives, your influence shapes their growth (or death), making them an integral part of the immersive story you create together.

Reviews
Not nearly as fun as the first game. It doesn't lead you anywhere. Just a lot of spread-out locations, and no indication of where you are going. Definitely a no buy.
Story = 5/5 Gameplay = 5/5 Combat = 4/5 Graphics = 4/5 Dialog = 5/5 Voice Acting = 5/5 I would pay $80 for this game.
한시간정도 플레이하면 스터터링 생기기 시작해서 불편해서 못하겠는데 2시간지나서 환불을 못받음. 그리고... 4시간동안 지루했음. 언제 재밌어지지 하다가 그냥 삭제
Inez is not there and Minister is just talking to himself. Kind of a big bug to lose out on a companion. Feel like this game has been out long enough to not have these big issues anymore. I can excuse the horrible feel of the terrain where I'll get stuck on a tiny lip of stone or pebble and the questionable hit boxes for those deadly terrain spots, also the random floating objects or body parts but come on, losing out on your companion? I would assume it's on purpose if the Minister wasn't just standing there talking to himself. I still like the game in general but honestly this almost made me not recommend it. Be wary of bugs and issues and definitely don't pay full price for this. Big studios used to mean something but this is not 70$ quality, not even close.
I do not understand how something can be as bland and uninspired as The Outer Worlds 2. A blank canvas or a UE5 slop game made in 2 days have more going on. They managed to create the most boring and pointless universe, populated with boring humans and nothing else.
If you liked the 1st game then this will be good for you also. Same strange guns and armor, funny bits and an intersting story. I didnt hit any bugs, and had fun for my 50hr start to finish. Dont see too much replay since you know all the locations and whats what. I would say get it on special and you wont regret it.
Very fun sequel to the Outer Worlds, I wished they had kept the skill alteration to the clothing and items, but weapons have improved significantly and are a lot more fun to play with.
I'm going to be brutally honest here. The first Outer Worlds had soul. It had charm. The companions were quirky, funny, and just the right amount of psychopathic to make them memorable. This time around? The companions are...fine. They're not bad, they're just kind of there. I spent most of the game wondering when the story was actually going to get good. Combat is fantastic and a high point of the game. The builds and perks are an improvement over the first game. Graphics are definitely nice. There's definitely more to do than in the first game, but somehow it feels like less. It's one of those rare cases where less really was more. I honestly cringe typing that because it's Obsidian we're talking about. Obsidian, you're killing me, brother. I almost wish I hadn't spent the time finishing this. By the time the credits rolled, I just sat there flabbergasted. It felt like I kept convincing myself the story was about to hit its stride, only for it to never really get there. The whole experience came across as one long stretch of plot slop with stakes that never felt particularly meaningful. And if you somehow manage to power through to the end, don't expect a satisfying payoff. You'll mostly be left wanting the game that could have been. Honestly, the ending reminded me of being a teenager when neither my girlfriend nor I understood that dry humping wasn't actually going to lead anywhere. Lots of anticipation, zero payoff. Final verdict: It's very mid out of/10
