Mass Effect 2 (2010) Edition

Great game. One of the best. However. Forced to use EA app. Literally can't insert my EA account password into Cerberus Network because the game itself doesn't allow over 16 or special characters. No Cerberus Network = No license for the DLC. No controller support for a game that was simultaneously released on console. Thanks for nothing, I guess. When EA eventually goes under, I will feel zero sympathy because they don't even try over there.

Постоянные укрытия от врагов и бесконечные проблемы с ограниченными патронами будут преследовать нас практически всю игру. [*] Инвентаря как такового больше нет. Больше нет тонны хлама, теперь нам доступны несколько видов оружия каждого класса без четкой привязки их к уровню, а броня кастомизируется по частям. [*] Прокачка построена так, что вы получаете очки опыта только за выполнение заданий, а не за убийства. Сам же опыт синхронизирован с нашим отрядом. Т.е. в случае если вы захотите взять нового напарника, он автоматически получит все очки умений, которые вы собрали до этого. [*] Добыча ресурсов. Чтобы сделать апгрейды корабля (которые спасут жизни вашей команде), придётся сканировать планеты на ресурсы. Процесс довольно нудный, но в целом очень важный в игре. Прокачивать мы будем не только сам корабль, но и различные улучшения для нас и нашей команды. [/list] [h1] От себя [/h1] Могу лишь сказать что сиквел вышел на голову выше первой части. Анимации героев прокачали, сюжетная линия и второстепенные задания интересны. Однако исследовать галактику оказалось не так захватывающе. The EA App doesn't allow the game to launch. I can't find a fix, and I'm done paying money for scam listings. How the ♥♥♥♥ is this even on Steam? You're better off on the high seas. That's what I get for trying to buy it. EDIT: It actually does start,,, it just takes five entire minutes to even begin running the program. Why? ♥♥♥♥ if I know. You decide if that's something you wanna deal with every time you start the game.

Pros: -It's more Mass Effect. Almost twice as much content as before. -Nonlinear missions and open world exploration. -Many new crew members and some old ones.* -My complaints about the last game, repetitive side quests and inventory management, have been addressed. The new side quests are unique and not just filler. No more barren planet surfaces. -This time, allies are actually useful in battle. Cons: -Planet scanning and hacking minigames are utterly repetitive and boring. And you have to do a LOT of them to succeed. Why did the developers do such a good job removing repetitive tasks from ME1, only to add more? -Occasional bugs. It's possible to become stuck in the air and have no recourse but to load the last save. The EA App sometimes randomly fails to start... -With so many characters, less attention is given to each one than in the first game. There are too many times when they have nothing to talk about, and missions don't really change based on which characters I bring. -*My one true love [spoiler]wouldn't join my crew, so I had to improvise ;)[/spoiler]

I played this before in my steam account, its quite cool then suddenly EA app updates and then the horror starts can't play it anymore in offline. Try the hard way re-installing the app and the game, man it drains your effen sanity. EA is awful in costumer services for it's old classic game.

A great sequel despite the waterdown leveling up aspect & squad mechanic... and some streamlined mechanic More action focus then the previous one with a story feeling like a side quest to the overall plot which is hard carried by the side characters and the future consequence of your action when you import your character in Mass Effect 3 The pc port is still somewhat lackluster. No controller support (has to be modded in) 60fps limit (higher introduce bugs) and barebones option The New steam version force the use of the EA App and you need to sign again in the game to unlock access for the dlcs with an broken abandonned system (Forced to have an EA password with no special characters and a 16 characters limit, have to sign in for every game boot) And also riddled with bugs... Overall i would only recomand this pc version of ME2 for hardcore fans or people who are savy enough to deal with mods and bugs If not, just get the Legendary Edition once again....

Е6аное говно под названием EA app не дает запустить игру из за "ошибки с ихней стороны". А так игра отличная.

Simply put, the game no longer runs without jumping through extensive hoops and even then, its dodgy at best. Don't pay for this game, EA will not fix it, and will not allow you to bypass the EA App which causes the issues.
