I love the open world. The scale of this game is absolutely massive. The horse models are pretty, the breeding aspect is very fun, and while I was worried deliveries would feel monotonous I've spent enough time in the game to say the differing challenging environments, wildlife, and things to discover along the way create a fun never-ending sense of exploration. The downsides that come with Early Access: bugs (glitching textures or animations), and waiting for updates. However if any of the above interest you, it is worth it!
I love this game so much. This is one of the best horse games I have seen on the market in recent years, and that is despite it still in early access. There are bugs, as to be expected, but I have yet to see a game-breaking one. The horses are dynamic and feel very alive. I love that they feel like real animals with personalities, rather than robots carrying you back and forth. This game is definitely worth it at this price point. However, I can tell that there is much left to be added. There is a gameplay loop: breeding and training your horses, exploring, and expanding your delivery routes. But I believe there is more to be added, such as a story and more interactions with the NPCs. It is a great game, but still in progress nonetheless. Just keep that in mind when purchasing. I can't wait to see all that will be added and refined before the full release.
I'm positive about this game so far! The culture, the natural environment and the bond with the horses make this game unique. I would like to see more options for personalizing the main character (clothing, hair, etc.). Additionally, I really miss a storyline. I find the missions fun so far, and sometimes challenging in the mountaintops where it's colder. Horse breeding is also really fun! But... and I hate having to say this, but the game has already crashed very often, mostly when selecting missions. I have high hopes that when the game is fully released, it will be a really fun game that I would recommend!
Honestly when I saw this and noticed the graphics were amazing imo.. I was like ooh and the horse models are very pretty even down to the animations I rarely get impressed with horses in games because they always feel like an after thought.. even when the game revolves around them but not Legend of Khiimori and the dev/devs are actually decently quick quick with putting out patches and they fix every little issue that gets reported so ya don't have to worry about bugs not getting fixed! only thing I can't do is run this smoothly during storms on ultra it stutters and lags like crazy however that's a pc part issue some parts need to be swapped but if you have all good parts and newer parts you should be fine I can run on high without any issue at 60 fps with very minimal drops at best and that's only during the worst storms with lots of wind.
I'm usually not one to rate games on Steam because I am incredibly picky and critical with what I spend money on. That being said, I feel this game deserves a good, in-depth rating from someone who grew up with horse games and currently enjoys various genetic games. I purchased this game unsure fully what I was getting into, but I was pleasantly surprised. I expected a simple open-world game where you ride horses across the land to deliver packages, yet I've fallen in love with the details of the game and how they executed their project. Let's start with what I personally dislike since it's a shorter list, and if you're reading reviews, you may be looking for problems. - Personally, I dislike the spirit aspect. I have not played much with that specific part of the game, but there are enemies based around spirits. I originally disliked it due to realism, but after seeing some fan art of a spirit with cool fangs by someone else, I am growing on the concept. This is all my personal opinion; I just personally dislike the spirits, but it is still really cool, and I don't think it's actually something bad. - The world can feel a bit dead. This may be in development, and I will update the review if they add more ambiance, but as of right now, there is wildlife, but it can still feel a bit dead. I would love to see more critters running around or even other courier riders so you can feel like the world is full of life. They do have things flying and running around, so this concern isn't that bad; I'd just love to see some more! - There isn't much customization for your character or horse tack. I would love to see some clothing changes or horse tack options to personalize your game! It could be fun to make craftable dye that you can apply to either craftable or purchaseable tack options. I would also love to see hairstyles or clothing options to personalize your character! Now the pros! - I actually initially thought this was a con when I started playing: I disliked how the characters didn't lip-sync to what they were saying. It honestly drove me NUTS whenever it zoomed in on conversation. I later was in settings and got curious, so I changed my voice dialogue to Mongolian and kept the subtitles in English; it changed the immersion so much! I genuinely love the way the characters speak now, and it feels so much more realistic! - Part of the dialogue: I genuinely love the way the game changes dialogue subtly between languages. In English voice audio, they will speak some ambient phrases in Mongolian, and they have a Mongolian accent. This detail adds realism and does feel like its a secondary language, which does feel so cool. After switching to Mongolian voice audio, I noticed that the Mongolian phrases from the English audio are pronounced differently; it was super cool to see how it changed. The accent in the Mongolian language is stronger and subtly pronounced differently. It was really fascinating to see, and I love the details. If they add more ambient phrases, I hope they keep this way of doing their audio recordings since I really love the details. - I really enjoy the horses and the animation. The way they choose the breeds feels so nice, and I love seeing the realism of the time. Personally, I dislike super stocky horses, but I love the way they used Mongolian horses since they were used for couriering in the time! I cannot wait to see all the breeds they add to the game! - I love the genetics! The system is small but super cool so far! I do hope they expand on it, but even if they don't, it's very sturdy currently and works quite well! - I absolutely love the open world! I got this game expecting a trail-like system where you have trails to follow, and everything else is blocked with invisible walls. I knew there would be different climates, but I expected a fast travel system to go to them. I WAS SO WRONG. The moment I realized I could go back to where I started and go the other direction into a whole new area??? It's so cool how giant the map is! I did not expect this insane immersion! No fast travel; you can run wherever you want, you can make your own paths! - I love that different cargo forces you to make different paths to get to it. I honestly did not expect to have to be creative with how I get my cargo to my customers, so it was super interesting to find out I need to find new pathways! - There is more, but honestly I want to move on to suggestions! Suggestions: - More creatures! Different variants for creatures as well! Adding rare fur variants would mean so much for players traveling around! - Hair styles, outfit variants, and horse tack! PLEASEEEE I would love Naraa to have a new uniform - Pets? Dogs/cats that follow you around? It would be interesting to allow players to tame stray dogs to work with you, especially if you give them different uses per breed, like hunting dogs or alert/guard dogs. - Bow upgrades?? - It would be cool and immersive to add the ability to see items you apply to your horse visually, like bandages on their body. - Clean versus dirty water could be a good survival aspect! In the end: I recommend! This game very much surprised me!
Se nota que va a estar de 10 cuando terminen de publicarlo, lo único que molaría que tuviera workshop
Awesome game
Gorgeous game, and has come a long ways since playtesting. It's been so neat watching this game from kickstarter to play testing to early access. The game has been steadily adding the planned/promised features and the devs have been great about implementing player feed back the whole time. The game has a variety of default control options to suit a variety of preferences, and the time and care they have put into making the horses look and feel realistic makes my horse girl heart so happy. I can't wait to see what this game grows into being by the time it reaches completion. Even without it being complete, there is so much to explore and do. Very enjoyable game.
I loved the game so far! i like the setting i like the idea i like the graphics. You can tell its still early access but I can't wait to see what future updates will bring.
