I guess if you really like the movie and wished to explore the world from the movie then yeah you might enjoy this game, other then that is so repetitive and kinda boring to be honest. Not worth the price at all, I do regret purchasing this one. It was kinda fun at first, if it wasn't for it being so repetitive with the story missions then maybe I would say yes. There are like 6 story missions that you play again and over again repetitively and other then that it gets really boring. Also I finished the entire game in just a day of playing and the entire time it was the same thing after the next pretty much. There is simply not much to do at all and other then that when you finished the long repetitive tiring story missions and so. You can just go for a ride around the map or either train your horse on one single arena that stays the same over and over again, also you can take care of your of your horse. That is it so I hope this helps if anyone is thinking to get it or not ❤️

Ich bin an sich kein Fan von Pferde und bin auch im Leben noch nie auf einem Pferd geritten. Mir sind Pferd etwas zu unheimlich und auch unberechenbar, weil sie u.a. auch Fluchttiere sind. Na ja, wie dem auch sei. Ach so, es gibt auch 5 Ostwind Filme, die ich auch nie gesehen habe. Daher bin ich quasi Blind an das Spiel heran gegangen. Also ich kenne weder Charaktere, noch die Storys. Aber hier im Spiel gibt es an sich auch keine Story. Man macht Anfangs paar Tutorial Missionen und dann kann man schon Ausreiten und die kleine Welt erkunden. Die Missionen sind dann nur noch Optional, um Erfahrungspunkte für das Pferd zu bekommen. Die bestehen aus Fotos machen oder kleines Rennen reiten. Alle Errungenschaften können nur beim Ausreiten geholt/gesammelt werden, bis auf Ausnahme von 2 Stück, die man Anfangs in den Missionen automatisch bekommt. Und eigentlich kann man auch Reisender und Springer in den Missionen bekommen. Aber Schauplätze und Kaans Schätze sind nur beim Ausreiten machbar. Bei wem die Errungenschaften nicht funktionieren, der muss auf die Gold Edition updaten, dazu gibt es auch ein Beitrag im Steam Forum in Deutsch. Die kleine Welt ist leider total öde und es passiert einfach nichts. Zudem bleibt man gerne mal an offensichtliche Lücken hängen und dann dreht das Pferd sich extrem schnell nach Links oder Rechts. Aber wenigstens blieb ich nicht einmal irgendwo stecken. Ich gebe dem Spiel eine gute 7 von 10 - hätte es keine Errungenschaften, würde ich es niemals anrühren. Aber ich hatte trotzdem etwas Spaß, obwohl es wenig Soundtracks gibt. Die wenigen wiederholten sich sehr oft. Und die 120 Kaans Schätze sind auch echt ein Stundenfresser. 50 hätten doch gereicht. Ich habe auch ein Guide dazu geschrieben, auch wenn es wahrscheinlich keiner mehr richtig spielt. Die deutsche Sprachausgabe ist echt gut, sind das vielleicht die Schauspieler von den Filmen? Wäre auf einer Seite cool. Es gibt von dem Spiel hier eine Remastered Version mit mehr Errungenschaften und einem Winter DLC. Und ein weiteres Spiel "Ostwind: Ein unerwartetes Abenteuer". Und wer von Pferde nicht genug bekommen kann, sollte sich auch das Spiel "Die Legende von Khiimori" anschauen.

I tried my best to like Windstorm, but the technical issues make it a struggle to enjoy. At one point, the game broke so badly I couldn't progress and had to Alt+F4 just to escape. If you use a dual-monitor setup, be prepared for constant resolution changes, flickering and graphic bugs on your screens. Most importantly: the horse steering is extremely clunky and actually gave me motion sickness. Only buy this if you have a high tolerance for bugs and a very strong stomach. If you love horse riding, just buy Red Dead Redemption 2. Don't support games like this that try to drain the wallets of girls who like horses with an unpolished product. RDR2 has still the best horse physics to date.

Игра по моему любимому фильму Восточный ветер. Красивая графика и такая знакомая с фильма музыка создают чудесную и расслабляющую атмосферу в игре. Из плюсов: довольно большая карта с препятствиями, приятное управление. Есть некоторые моменты, которые не понравились, например, по-моему, быстро заканчивается стамина на спринте, хотелось просто подольше "полетать" в полях именно быстро. Если проваливаешь задание, персонажи повторяют одну и ту же фразу, что меня бесит, но это уже моя придирка) еще хотелось бы, чтобы сделали езду от первого лица. А так я рекомендую игру всем любителям лошадей

It is a peaceful exploration game with a story and a few quest types like fetching some plants, ride across the land in a speed race or obstacle course and sometimes you have to discover points of interest which you need to photograph. It is worth on sale for sure.

The riding mechanics are fun, but the horses are not cute enough. What is the point of making a horse game if you don't make cute horses?!?!?!?! MAKE THE HORSES CUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you.

Junge, was stimmt denn mit Frau Holle nicht?! Diese auf Speed-gecrackte Kuh ging ja mal gar nicht. Diese "Einfang"- Questen haben mal so gar keinen Spaß gemacht. Aber Hauptsache immer dieses Kommentar "Das macht sie sonst nie" -nee, wirklich NIE...muss wohl an meinem Charakter gelegen haben! Nachdem ich bestimmt deutlich mehr als 5 mal dieses Rind einfangen musste, hab ich mir echt ne Schrotflinte im Spiel gewünscht. Zum Spiel ansich: Sehr abwechslungsreich war es nicht, aber nun bin ich auch eigentlich nicht mehr die Zielgruppe für dieses Spiel xD mit 12 wäre es bestimmt mein Lieblings-Pferde- Spiel gewesen. Die offene Welt war aber wirklich schön und hat mich positiv überrascht. Da hat das Spielen dann tatsächlich echt Spaß gemacht. Kann ich das Spiel empfehlen? - Ja, ich denke irgendwie schon (aber nicht für den Vollpreis) Werde ich noch einen Ostwind-Teil Spielen?- Ja sichi, michi! 5/10

Игра бы зашла мне лет 15 назад, когда я была ребенком и фанатела от игры про путешествие Барби на ранчо. Игра, в принципе, неплохая и даже вызывала у меня чувство ностальгии, но очень быстро она становиться чертовски скучной. Всё что мы делаем - это катаемся на лошади от точки к точке и иногда ухаживаем за ней. При этом коллекционные предметы и ачивки за открытие локаций выпадают только тогда, когда ты катаешься по открытому миру, но если ты поедешь по тем же локациям во время квеста, то статуэтки ты не увидишь. Прям видно, как время в игре искусственно растягивают. Да возможно меня избаловали более новые игры, но блин, в той же игре про Барби и сюжет был (да в одном предложении, но он был, механики были поразнообразней и нам хотя бы позволяли слезть с лошади. Нет, мне конечно заявили о крепкой связи героини с конем, но они же буквально склеенные. Управление местами неудобное, баги из-за которых ты застреваешь в текстурах, достижения выпадают криво-косо и с опозданием. Не знаю, что там в ремастере, но здесь всё печально. В принципе, если у вас есть ностальгия по подобного рода играм, можете попробовать, игра на скидках дешевая, Но как по мне это грустно и скучно(
