Picking up shortly after The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Estelle travels across Liberl in search of Joshua. The journey involves more than seeking loved ones, however, as the Bracer Guild also tasks her with unraveling the mysteries behind the newly unveiled Society of Ouroboros.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is a pure brilliant in terms of the story and french butter in terms of It's world and characters. Picks off at the FC cliffhanger and expands on it so nicely the whole prequel gains a new aura around it. Though a little lacking and grindy the combat is a nice bouquet with a few plastic flowers here and there, (Which gets fixed in the next game where it becomes just perfect) and it was quite enjoyable, at least for me. There is many more things that are good, time speed-up, the new orbment system, the animated 2d cutscenes, music, and many new interesting good and bad guys. Side **stories** were almost never boring or repetitive. And it all wraps up so nicely i was shedding happy tears. Thank you for reading my piece of mind, Olivier is bestboy. x
TLDR: When a sequel steps into the shoes of a beloved classic and takes the players on a journey to even greater heights. So much to love about the second chapter. It takes up immediately after the first game, and ramps everything up. It's as if the first chapter was just a prologue to the true story presented in this second chapter. The characters back stories are fleshed out even more, especially the stories of whomever you choose to team up with at the beginning, and in the case of Kloe, not so much her back story, but her future. Even the villians have interesting, tragic stories, with tangled webs criss-crossing your own team, and an overarching story epic in concept that defines the world they live in. It all wraps up very nicely, no cliff-hanger, except for a shocking final act by Father Kevin that forms a nice segue into the third game. Finished the second chapter at nearly three in the morning, and even at my age, took everything in me to not immediately jump into the third. The Trails series is HUGE, and expensive. I have been slowly building up my collection via Steam sales, and it's my most enjoyable and worthy endeavor on Steam. They're just so well-written and immense in scope and depth. Highly, highly recommended to RPG fans who want to fall in love with the game they're playing.
Nota: 10/10
Recomendadisimo!
Continuation of the last game with a few tweaks but overall same gameplay. Combat is slightly modified with the Orbments being upgradeable now and having to upgrade the slots to be able to use higher tier orbs. Also they added some negative effects to some orbs to balance them out so you can't just stack an attack and defense orb together you'll have to pick one cause they cancel out each other. Combat added combo attacks you can use CP to do an attack with another character but by the endgame I didn't find it worth using. The main change is the party customization. There are a few more companions but this time you can set 2 characters you want at any time outside a few story related bits as they travel with you from chapter to chapter instead of having new companions each chapter. Also fishing sucks. Fishing is like universally terrible in every game stop adding it into every RPG or farming sim. If fishing mini games were a movie, it'd be straight to DVD and star Steven Seagal. To get all the fish you have to go to the correct fishing spot, then use the correct rod, then use the correct bait and then it's RNG after that. You also only get bait from grinding monsters and like 6 chests in the game, and monsters don't give any XP once you are equal or greater level. Speaking of level, the data from the first game carries over so if you finished that one overleveled the game will be a on the easy side until in balances out. Anyway, yeah game is pretty good. Plays like the last one just with a few combat tweaks and annoying fishing crap.
One of the worst game series (If not the worst) I played in my life. This game is almost worse in every aspect than the first entry of the series, which I also hated. But I still decided to give this game a try because I really hoped that the story gonna finally pick up as the fans promised. I played for 15 hours, and literally nothing interesting happened during the game. Although pointless content was also annoying in the first game, here it takes a complete new scale as all the locations in the second game were already in the first game (they literally reused the entire first game in the 2nd one; I am not kidding). The first game was at least a bit interesting because you were discovering a new world, its geopolitics and meeting new characters. In SC, chapters 1-5 (30-40 of playtime out of 60 hours) you literally do the same things and get reintroduced to the same characters. Why do fans who praise the story of sc almost never mention that half of the game is literally a repetition of the previous one? I don't talk about other issues of the game, such as DISGUISTING difficulty balancing (as the easy/normal is no brain and hard is impossibly bad in some instances). All these problems were also in the first part, and they got only worse; there is more grind, more ridiculously unfair boss battles, tedious dungeons, extremely naive and even stupid story and etc. To be fair, there are things to like the game for (such as interesting battle system and amazing detalization), but they disappear in the ocean of boringness and tiredness from the game. I honestly have no clue why ppl recommend this game series to others so fiercely. It is just bad.
