Gunsmith Simulator is an absolute blast for anyone who's ever dreamed of tinkering with firearms without the real-world hassle. The workshop feels alive as you strip down everything from rusty classics to modern pieces, using lathes, CNC machines, and a solid array of tools to repair, refinish, and customize with optics, grips, and wild paint jobs that make each gun your own masterpiece. What really hooked me is how satisfying the progression is, starting with basic fixes and building up to complex restorations that look showroom fresh, plus heading to the shooting range afterward to test your work and blow off some steam with precision drills or CQB runs. Sure, some early jobs can feel a bit repetitive until you unlock more options, but the depth of detail in handling parts and seeing your creations come together more than makes up for it. If you love hands-on sims with a cool hobby twist, this one delivers pure satisfaction from start to finish.
I work on guns IRL as a side business / hobby this game is really quite enjoyable for going through the motions of your own gunsmith shop and all the things that go into it (except the ATF thankfully) It is a very high level arcade version if you want to just keep spitting out guns its great. Hold the mouse and spin the part. I wish there was more player interaction other than just the leaderboard on the range also - let us bid for guns against each other etc. Let us design things for a monthly prize - lots of ways it could go. Also an expert mode would be a huge step... I wish the lathe/mill work was a little more detailed than just hitting a button - there are even mobile games with more machining than this. A lot of being a gunsmith is the creativity and machining skill or personalization and sadly its just not captured here. It is more just assembly and disassembly. This game could go to a whole new level if each step allowed manual interaction (and mistakes) in a more advanced mode to truly let you build things. I'm not just assembling a 1911 with a rail... I'm smoothing a feed ramp, adjusting the trigger squeeze, adding some gold inlay and threading a barrel. But overall a great game and hope they keep adding to it.
Not a huge fan of guns, but I absolutely love this game, its great! Game is NOT Co-Op as advertised though.. 24.99 Is way too pricy, 13 is way more fair. 7.5/10
我这么说吧,这个游戏就是个二逼游戏,做得稀烂,甚至不如上学那会做的学生作品,开发者但凡玩一下自己做的游戏,但凡真的喜欢枪,就不会做出这么一坨大粪
Bought it for Steam Deck and it works fine with some custom controls and Medium settings to avoid crashes.
我说真的,真的好无聊啊,真的好无聊啊,时不时还有点小bug折磨我,有dlc都这么无聊,而且那个靶场更无聊,不想再启动了
Very detailed! Some minor issues-bugs, but impact on gaming experience in general is limited. Would be nice if the gun inventory would be regularly updated with new brands and types.
it is fun and educational for people who want into gunsmithing
Muy relajante recomendado para malos días
I know one guy who gets really upset of the stuff that is happening in this game (especially after a request to "modernize" an M1 Garand), but ykw who gives a damn. Its a video game after all. And if they wanted a game with "weawizm" then they should look somewhere else.
