The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC

Trails in the Sky SC is an absolute masterpiece, and is as close as possible to what I would call a perfect game. I normally like to write in detail about what really makes a game work or not in reviews, but I feel that giving any specific details for this game would impede on the experience, so I'm going to speak more broadly to help preserve the experience for anyone that decides to play it.. If you haven’t played the first game, then I strongly encourage you to do so, and then come play this game. If you have played the first game, then you know broadly what to expect, but SC really ramps everything up to the next level. SC at its core just Part 2 (as the name implies), so it’ll largely give the same experience, but with many improved aspects that really elevate the experience – the most important of which being the story. The first game's story is still great on its own, but SC takes that foundation and builds an amazing continuation, being is my largest point of praise for the game. The story of this game is one of if the most gripping and engaging stories I have ever experienced. I personally enjoyed the game so much that I decided to 100% all other content too, but SC is worth playing for its outstanding story alone. 10/10

wow. that was a well crafted adventure. you cant say that about every flashy jrpg. fun tactical combat with world building that really pays off. they could have ended the trilogy here and i would be satisfied. the last dungeon, however, was gruelling an a tad long. emotionally exhausting yet very satisfying

CRYING CRYING AND MORE CRYING!!! THIS GAME IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! I loved FC, but OMG, SC made me legit cry because of how beautiful this story is. It has so much more emotional depth, and it really plunges your heart into despair sometimes. But it also brings it up, making your heartstrings sing. God when was the last time I was invested in a game like this? Probably not since Nier lol
