THE LAST OF US PART I
I played through this on PS5 (my friend lent it to me), and the narrative experience was absolutely exceptional.

The Story
This is where The Last of Us truly excels. The way Joel and Ellie's relationship develops feels natural, earned, and genuinely moving. Every conversation builds their bond, and by the end you genuinely care about both of them. The dialogue lands perfectly — it feels like real people talking, not forced exposition. The pacing is masterful too. You're so pulled into their journey that you don't realize how much time has passed. Hours disappear because the story has such a grip on you. That's the mark of truly excellent narrative design.

Character Development
Both Joel and Ellie change throughout this journey in ways that feel organic and believable. Their growth isn't rushed or artificial — it happens naturally through their interactions and the world they're navigating.

Puzzles & Exploration
The game balances story with exploration nicely. There are puzzles and environmental challenges that feel thoughtful without being overwhelming. You get time to breathe and explore between story beats.

Atmosphere & Tension
The game excels at building genuine dread through specific encounters. Clicker encounters, especially in enclosed spaces, force you to move like a ghost — carefully, quietly, aware that one mistake means death. These moments create real tension through environmental design and the threat of sudden danger. They show how well The Last of Us understands pacing and fear.

Presentation
It's remarkable how well this PS3-era game holds up visually on PS5. The character animations are expressive and detailed, and the world feels lived-in and immersive.

Overall
The Last of Us Part I is a masterclass in narrative-driven gaming. The story, characters, and emotional journey make this an experience that stays with you long after it ends.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Awesome game! Highly recommended for anyone who loves heavy story games and wants an emotional punch in the face.
The cure wouldn't have worked
Having played both the original release, the remastered version and this latest upgrade on the console, I am quite happy to finally experience this game on my pc in all its glory. A strong story, great visuals, great gameplay, memorable soundtrack that haunts you throughout the game, fantastic work by the cast members... Everything feels right. If you haven't played this yet, I strongly recommend it. It's one of my favourite games and Part II is even better. It's worth the price.
i love you ellie, but you love woman :)
