About
Lured in by shared nightmares, madmen travel to a remote island crowned by a silent Tower. No one remembers the journey.
The Lantern of the Laughless Saint is an open world RPG built around exploration and connection. You learn the land by walking it, following rumors, reading scraps of burned history, and meeting lost souls who wandered to the ends of the Earth, following the same feverish dream of a light buried beneath the Tower.
Somewhere in the depths is a theater with an empty stage, waiting for an audience. As you repair or ruin the lives of the island's inhabitants, the phantoms they leave behind take their seats in the audience. The more seats you fill, the more the island listens, and the greater the applause for your final act.
And if you don’t want to descend alone, you don’t have to. The entire game is fully playable in co-op: explore the island together, delve into the depths for treasures, and make the choices that will decide the fate of everyone on the island, and beyond...
A wild, ancient island to explore
Follow leads, find shortcuts into the Tower, stumble into side stories, and piece together what is real and what is mere delusion.
Open Ended
Most quests have multiple resolutions. Mercy, violence, compromise, deceit.
A large cast of bizarre characters
Many strange folk find their home on the island. A giant toad learning to read. An ancient skeleton who just wants to swim. A musician from a faraway land hunts for something precious. Everyone has a theory for why you’re here. None of them agree.
The Amphitheater
Your choices change the world. Treat others with kindness and generosity, and a trusted friend will take their seat in your audience. Fail or abuse them, and something darker takes their place. The House fills either way.
Visceral Combat with multiple weapon types
Punchy combat against strange horrors
Full co-op
Play the whole game together. Explore the world, share the spoils, and decide who you will become, because the consequences belong to all of you.
The Tower does not call the whole. It calls the broken, the wanting.
Fill the seats. Start the performance. Find out what is buried at the bottom of the well.

Reviews
Still early in the game, but a successor to Morrowind with a modern take to it. A lot of funny moments, and a lot of questing with solid combat kept me entertained so far. Here is my funny video on the game at early access launch, hopefully it helps you decide to give it a try in early access! https://youtu.be/2vvru9-_i4Q
Se ve genial, pero con la pc q tengo (amd athlon 3000 g ryzen vega 3 y todo eso) apenas anda al mínimo. Sé que no pq las texturas sean retro pida poco para rendimiento, pero realmente debería andar mejor. No sé, mejor optimizado?

I killed the Voice of Reason... 10/10. (I'll never know what that little guy was gonna finish saying to me)
good foundation but it's so severely undercooked in many aspects that make it unfun sometimes
Looks very promising... I'll come back when it's out of EA
most video game ass video game i've ever played.
Lantern of the Laughless Saint is full of spirit and passion. Their dev team is working around the clock to improve the state of the game and listen to everyone in their discord. I am very excited to see how far they go. So far the game yes has bugs but if you report them someone quickly adds them to the todo list and they execute quickly to deliver hotfixes. The content enjoyable, the art style is unique, the story is interesting and I could keep going on. For the price it is a worthwhile purchase just for the multiplayer aspect alone. Todd Howard cant hold a candle to this small agile studio trying to make a cool thing. Also NuclearSnake is the goat 🐐
This game is amazing and a breath of fresh air. Also the developers response time on fixes is awesome. They have non stop been releasing fixes and new features even since the game dropped. All the reviews about it being buggy and waiting are missing out on the insane amount of work the devs put into this game and still continue to do so. Highly recommend this game.
The game seems to put me in a whole new world. Immersive as ♥♥♥♥ but the problem for me is that has SERIOUS performance issues. I bought this game on the day it released and it stuttered bad... Since the new fix they added now my game is stuck at 10 fps with 99% GPU usage... fix this please.
This is what TES 6 would have been if Bethesda still cared.
