For someone who criticizes other developers for not taking feedback or updating in a timely manner, he sure isnt working on this game. He realized he makes more money to not work on it. This game will never be finished and these "updates" are being implemented in stages to keep the early access from noting the game as being abandoned. All the updates were probably done in a few hours and are being trickled out. Truly a sad display from someone who says they care about games and respect devs.
got this game when it first launched as a kid, felt it had potential and was excited to see where it went. im about to go into college and... this game hasnt really changed at all, has it? i wish i bought a two candy bars instead. boo.

TL:DR Just a crappy unfinished undertale clone that tries too hard to be toby fox but falls extremely short. Got the game on sale a long time ago, before I knew anything about PirateSoftware. When I eventually played it, I felt immediately bored and I didn't last for more than 30 minutes before giving up and requesting a refund. I didn't get one, so I literally removed it from my library. Disregarding the fact that it's unfinished, and will most likely remain abandoned, even if you don't know anything about the man-child nepo baby who is the creator of this game, it's still poorly made, uninteresting and not worth your time. Play undertale yellow instead.
Honestly, whatever your individual thoughts on the dev himself are, I just can't bring myself to recommend this title. Objectively, the individual aspects of the game are fine, but are used so sparsely that it wastes much of the potential the game has. That's not to mention the fact that development has effectively come to a screeching halt ages ago, with little to no meaningful updates in a long time. I understand that game development is not easy, and writing less so, but I struggle to understand a game that borrows many notes from its inspirations having been in development for nearing 11 years with the last large update having been roughly half of that ago. I remain cautiously optimistic for the eventual release of a final product, but also possess the realistic disposition that with the passage of time that grows increasingly unlikely.
I bought this game over five years ago and almost nothing new has been added since other than constant bug fixes. There is almost no plot and the entire story is undermined by the current final boss. Gameplay unfortunately boils down to a fetch quest :(. No matter your thoughts on the Dev, I do not suggest this game as it is a complete waste of time.
Basically a scam.
Bought this game when the early access dropped like a decade ago. Even if I could find Thor’s personal actions excusable, waiting 10+ years for an indie game is not. Steam was right to mark the EA as abandoned, even now most patches are one line about a language fix. If the game comes out, i wouldnt even recommend picking it up on sale.
Story? What story? Updates? What updates? Combat? What combat? Choices? What choices?
Updates are basically nothing, this game will never come out.
Abandonware. Thor can't code but pretends to. Game will never be finished.
