The Emptiness Deluxe Edition

It's OK. This is an HO game with some puzzles. Very relaxed and not too complicated. The graphics are decent and the mechanics are not that bad. Took me around 5 hours to finish it. No bugs or crashes. Works fine on win 7. Now, it's an average game, nothing is really bad or really good. The story is simple. The game can get a little repetitive but not to the point to get boring. I think is rated so bad just for the same reason most games with the tag "horror" get many negative reviews, cause people have unreal expectations about scary stuff. Very few movies and games can be really scary. A little Indie game can provide some atmosphere and some jump-scares but is rather absurd to pretend it to be more than a creepy thing. If you have high expectations and you're a veteran horror-junkie, look elsewhere. If you want some entertainment with an HO with horror elements you might enjoy the ride.

No skip or fast forward AND a lot of animations that you must watch. This is a horrible combination. It does have a decent environment, but the gameplay is boring. It has nothing of psychological horror, all you have to do is find symbols and words in an unimaginative way. I'd skip this one if I were you.

Severe graphical glitching: Everytime there's movement the whole screen, everything, turns to pink and green color.

The game looks awful. No real direction and the Jumpscares are cheap as heck and predictible at best. I cannot reccommend this game at all. Also it is not clear sometimes

The Emptiness Deluxe Edition is a game about finding the secret to get out of your emptiness. The goal of the game is to escape the house that is symbolic for your fears. You go around the house finding symbols that will spell out the name of a spell that will allow you to progress in the house. It's a point-and-click puzzle game as you need to find the symbols, but there will be objects that you'll need to find them like keys to open cabinets and such. The game mostly takes place inside the house and has multiple different rooms to navigate, which looks alright. There is no music, but there are sound effects of you navigating through the house, finding things, and completing certain tasks. There wasn't so much of a story other than to find the next set of symbols for the spell to open the next door. I wouldn't be recommending this to my friends as I didn't find it all that fun.

Bland voice acting, bad graphics, and predictable horror game tropes. Don't bother
