First off, it's a simple linear RPG with honestly minimal content. Overall it's fun enough to play for a short time but then thats it. The game is buggy, random stuff here and there but nothing serious to stop the game. It's supper annoying though. One of the worst I noticed is all my characters names keep changing itself to all the same name. The battles are rather simple, there isnt really any strategy at all. The interface is worse!!! For some reason you can attack an empty tile. Why do I attack empty tiles? Cause the screen moves when characters moves so when u click and the thing moves you click in the wrong spot and it attacks air. Not to mention all that unnecessary screen shake. Also, you have to keep ur finger on the space bar cause there is no fast forward button. You have to do it manually. Get the game if its on major sale, cause honesstly this game is not good enough to get it on a normal day
It has a lot of annoying quirks and UI designs. It plays like Darkest Dungeon meets Battle Brothers but worse.
This game is clearly an attempt to make some simple Darkest Dungeon like, alas it also borrowed the grinding aspect of DD which is enough for me for a big NO. But anyway the resulting gameplay (simplified Darkest Dungeon) is meh, all variations attempts to differ from Darkest Dungeon are rather inferior, from combats to lite expedition aspects. So overall I can't advise this game.
Meh. That's exactly what comes in mind about this game. Some people compare it with Darkest Dungeon, but beside a vague close graphical style, Path & Danger does not have the depth and atmosphere of Darkest Dungeon. By far! Now that this is out of the way, Path & Danger is not a bad game, but it has some issues that makes is frustrating to play. When I say that, I think about this idiotic path finding. Let me explain. In some areas, there are pits that will damage your team if step onto. Fair enough. The first problem is that the UI kind of lags, which means that you think you selected a unit when you did not, and then you issue a move order to the wrong one... making it fall into the pit. OK, you can say this is the player's fault, why not, but hear me now. They implemented a save / load formation. When the combat is finished, you want to put your team in formation by loading your previously saved formation and guess what? some of the members will fall into the pit, like morons. This, and the unnecessary grinding which is far from fun or rewarding, and you have a game that leaves you a mediocre taste in the mouth. I did not dislike the few hours spent playing it, I will probably invest a couple of more hours, but I am not sure I will have the patience to finish it, which is very rare for me. If you get it very cheap, and are in dire need of a game to play a handful of hours, you may find it OK. Otherwise, there are much much better games around.

this games pretty bad ass i like it
Paths & Danger is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is laughably bad, it's some clumsily slapped together amateur turn based tactical combat/lightweight RPG game taking place on badly done hex maps with a simplistic yet also unengaging combat system and such deplorably bad quality even the mobile gamers didn't like it, and that's saying a lot, because they loved Flappy Bird. Which tells us all we need to know about mobile gamers and this mobile app, too. From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The artwork here is terrible, it's all just amateurish "My First Wacom Tablet" style drawings used instead professional looking game assets. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget to arrange someone who can create graphical assets properly, or lack of talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low, enough on its own to deter gamers. While there are options to change the resolution for the mobile app, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the mobile app, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The developers didn't design the mobile app for modern gaming PCs, as such the display resolution caps out at around 1440p, there's no support for the state-of-the-art 4K or higher resolutions. The mobile app simply won't look right on modern gaming displays due to this failure on the part of the developers. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone. These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this mobile app is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 12 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality mobile app is to be expected. So, should you buy this mobile app? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is $10 USD, on app stores, it's $5 USD. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a TWICE THE PRICE for an already overpriced mobile app just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because this is a mobile app, is priced to insult and gouge PC gamers, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend. TEN BUCKS FOR A GARBAGE MOBILE APP! Just who do they think we are?
For $3 on sale, this game is well worth the price, even if you only play for a few hours.
pretende ser una especie de darkest dungeon por turnos, entretenido sin mas un poco repetitivo y algo difícil, pero lo compré barato y creo que me renta,
