Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.86/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

gud game on off relationship but overall play it
11320H with RTX 3050 - game constantly disconnects: have messed around with ports and firewall rules, flushed DNS, router on and off, disabled ipv6, hit repair and verified game file integrity all for the Elder Scrolls Online. I just want to play your freaking game man. Edit: Fixed-Do NOT run this game as an Administrator. Poor default settings and keybinds have spent a solid hour configuring the game.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Best MMORPG out there, and still going strong after 2,000+ hours
I started playing ESO in 2020 and it's been one of my favorite games ever since. Even now I find myself coming back for long stretches. Most of my time has gone into PvE, whether that's questing or group content, with a little PvP on the side.

Content that doesn't expire
2,000 hours in, I'm still finding content I've never touched. Old content stays relevant, and so does the gear you earn from it, so you never feel like you're grinding on a treadmill that resets. I have several characters for different types of content, though you can now swap between multiple builds on a single character instantly, so that's optional. ESO was my first Elder Scrolls game. It got me hooked on the lore and led me to Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.
Great for solo players, even better with people
I started out completely solo and only did group content with randoms, and that was a great experience on its own. The community is friendly and dedicated. People are quick to help and genuinely enjoy doing it. My advice to everyone, no matter how you like to play: talk to people and join at least one guild. Organized group content has been a blessing for me, and I've made friends I still talk to outside of ESO.
Addons and performance
Addons make a big difference for the UI in group content and add plenty of quality-of-life features. If you're just starting out, I'd recommend Minion. Console players seem to manage fine without addons, so it's not strictly necessary. The game also ran well on the laptop I started on.
Fair monetization
Since old content stays relevant, you don't really miss out by skipping ESO Plus. I subscribe for the extra bag and bank space because I run a master crafter, and I love the housing system. But it's a convenience, not something you need to keep up with the content.

Verdict: Recommended
If you want an MMO with depth, a welcoming community, and content you can enjoy at your own pace, this is it.
