The Elder Scrolls® Online

Every time I start the game there's a 100GB+ update on a splash screen. Not sure why this isn't just done in steam, but it means I can never convince any friends to play =/ Its an MMO which is a negative. The game itself is kind of fun. But I can't recommend it due to the need to manually update the game.

Ich bin seit über 10Jahren dabei, aber das was hier herausgeschmissen wird ist keinen Cent wert. Ruckel, Gezuckel und ständige Abstürze mit Fehler 307 (du wurdest vom Server geschmissen) nur im PvE . Für langjährige Spieler kommt nur noch PvP in Frage , komischerweise keine Abstürze und Ruckler!!! Zur Zeit keine Empfehlung zum Kauf!!!

I never thought I would be writing a negative review for ESO. It was one of my favourite games, and for years I recommended it to other people. Unfortunately, my experience with customer support completely changed my opinion. My account was permanently banned for "Cheating/Exploiting". The only evidence presented to me was a copy of private chat messages where I discussed an external script related to Tamriel Trade Centre, a community trading website. That script never interacted with the ESO client, never modified the game, never automated gameplay and never communicated with ZeniMax's servers. It simply processed information from a third-party website. From my perspective, support appears to have concluded that words such as "script", "developer mode" and "codes" automatically meant cheating, without first understanding what was actually being discussed. A permanent ban is the most severe penalty an online game can issue. I expected a proper technical investigation and a clear explanation of what rule I had actually violated. Instead, I received a generic response quoting the Code of Conduct and my chat messages. Whether you agree with my project or not is irrelevant. The important question is whether it actually violated the rules. I am still waiting for an explanation of what my software supposedly did to the game itself. I lost several months of gameplay, an account that's been around for years, and money invested, only to be completely wronged out of nowhere. They have no proof of anything because it doesn't exist, they didn't want to know, and they ignore messages when confronted with requests for evidence that I cheated in any way. There is no quality of ESO's support investigations. The game deserves praise. The support, in my experience, does not.

Played a few years ago and it was pretty good. Though what you had to buy was a bit confusing. I am glad to see them make a lot of previously paid content free as well as constantly push out new updates. The world is great looking, stuff everywhere to find and explore. It feels like every time your running from one are to another there is a quest available on the way you could pick up and do real quick. I've found myself ignoring them for now as my quest log is full. The base game is 75% off and the Deluxe pack to unlock a whole bunch more is 50% off currently and well worth it. ESO plus does feel required sometimes, just nice to have all content without having to worry about picking up small things here and there and the material bag is really nice. Upside is they give you currency every month so eventually you could just pick up your favorite stuff over time that isnt part of base game/part of deluxe bundle and play for free.

I revisit this game every few years and I'm it's improved a lot! Very fun way to explore the world of Tamriel!
