runs like ♥♥♥♥! unreal engine slop skin-walking around with the rotten oblivion pieces. thank God for steam refunds! i didn't even pay for this, but thank you G*sh. bethesda is a bloated rotten homunculus of a company - creatively bankrupt and INCOMPETENT. they just laid off the lead figure behind the creation engine, a man creatively involved in their games (suggesting fallout 4 start pre-war), and loyal to the company for decades. GOOD, he was a bonafide IDIOT - should have included a bullet in his rejection letter... but not everyone's cut out to lead. when bethesda crumbles to ash and they PAY me to acquire their company, i will make SURE to never release another one of their IP's again, FIRE everyone, except todd - my press secretary, rename the company to something that isn't a stupid copy of some stupid town in some stupid state (maybe something like BWC: bethesda was conquered), and we will make GOOD GAMES
Game is a shiny piece of trash and doesnt even work, dont waste your time and especially your money...how far Bethesda has fallen, sad to see.
Abandoned quicker than my father abandoned kindness for child me.
Can't even continue my 60 hour playthrough because of the very common CRASH TO DESKTOP issues that everything is raving about. And these absolute dunderheads have the audacity to release a SWITCH 2 VERSION after not updating PC or other consoles for a whole year. Yeah, Bethesda can suck my fatty. Don't buy this garbanzo.
I expected this game to be supported after release and for bug fixes and performance updates to be patched in. Instead, Bethesda Game Studios released this game and then promptly abandoned it and its players. I was excited to come back and play this remaster a second time only to find that it hasn't seen an update since I last played it. Bethesda Games Studios is a shell of its former self. Starfield was mediocre at best. It's been more than a decade since Fallout 4 was released. This will be the absolute last BGS game I buy at or near its release date. Just like with Ubisoft, I'll be waiting for the studio to finish the game and for it to go on sale. I can't wait for Fallout 5 and TES6 to release using the same buggy engine with a UE5/UE6 wrapper over it. Shame on you, BGS. Shame on you.
Bait and switch abandonware
Not optimized and lazy rework cash grab
14 Layers of Management. 14 years of bullsht, the next elder scrolls game will either make or break betehsda company. Ain't nothing else that can save them anymore, not even themselves.
Hey Folks, So I love this game, played it on Day 1 with all the bugs and it was pretty rough, but it was fun to run around Cyrodill up to date with all my favourite DLC and relive the main quest of the Oblivion Crisis. But I cannot recommend this game at all. The bugs are frequent especially with NPC's on quest scripts that will.. stop working. For example, on the final quest of the game where an NPC talks to you and then the game goes through a cinematic view followed by the ending Cutscene, I could not get it to trigger unless I did a lot of reloading, finagaling, and rebooting the game until it finally worked. A year later, I unfortunately cannot get the game working on startup. A change was made to the base files this game ships with and for some folks (myself included) the game will crash on startup and Unreal Engine will send you a crash report. There is a work around for this, but it will take time and require a bit of experience messing with game files and trial & error. A great game, left abandoned by the devs & Bethesda, still functional if you are willing to fix it yourself. But any game should be able to work and be in a playable state when you go to purchase it outside of Early Access.
I regret every single day thinking about this crap spent 50$ on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what a waste Greatest horror game of my life
