Players will be taken down the brutal and personal path of Jackie Estacado, head of a New York crime family and wielder of an ancient and ruthless force of chaos and destruction known as The Darkness.
It’s been two years since Jackie Estacado used The Darkness to kill the men responsible for his girlfriend’s murder. He’s been unable to shake the memory of Jenny’s death since bottling up his supernatural power and now The Darkness wants out. A sudden, unprovoked attack by a mysterious organization known as the Brotherhood heralds the start of a full-scale war and opens the door for The Darkness to reemerge, setting Jackie on a journey to hell and worse.
4-Player Co-op Campaign - Play as one of four unique characters each capable of wielding weapons infused with Darkness powers.

Игра интересная, но сюжет крайне короткий. Разнообразием оружия игра не балует. Графика конечно устарела но играть можно. В игре есть баги невидимой стены но они решаются крайне просто. В общем и целом игра классная. советую. 7 артефактов тьмы из 10
Good game great story, good game mechanics and everythign but it lacks steam cloud which sucks if you forget to backup game data like myself incldued who lost gmae data but it is a good game settings this aside depsite beign years old. 8.7/10

--I got this title to try it out, because it seemed interesting-ish when it came out, and I couldn't play it at the time. Even though I didn't get to play it when it came out, I could feel a sort of warmth from a bygone era of gaming... That said, this game's time went away with that era. --Narrative seems to be a big focus for it, but the writing is pretty terrible and half-baked. If not quarter-baked. I've played older games that have no motion tracking or advanced facial expression animation. And they prove you can have a good narrative if you just write well, hire decent actors, and animate enough to simulate emoting in conversation. Darkness 2 just didn't quite get there. --This only leaves Darkness 2 with gameplay. While this part feels simplistic in a way of games long gone, it fails to rank up as they do. The material that is here didn't live up to become a cult classic, and with good reason. Look elsewhere for museum pieces that paved the way for what we'd consider to be the amazing titles of today.
Man, what I wouldn't give for the Darkness 3.

This game is Trash. Can't even get through the tutorial because it won't allow me to eat the heart. Junk at any price!
Story, gameplay and art style are top notch. This is a must have for any comic and FPS fan.
