The Curse of Monkey Island

My grandpa taught me how to play the Monkey Island games when I was a wee lass. I’m 30 now, and still love coming back to this game every once in a while after I’ve forgotten some of the puzzles, and yes, I still want to be a pirate when I grow up. “A pirate I was meant to be! Trim the sails and roam the sea!!”

I first played the demo back around 1999 and was only able to play the full game many years later, around 2006. I can only give this game a positive review, even in this day and age. It looks amazing on an 8K monitor and runs impeccably on modern hardware.

Probably game is nice but the setup is not user friendly at all. You cannot skip the dialogue, cannot see what object is available on the screen, your even have no explanation how to save and need to find in internet (F5). In current games the dialogue options which were already used are blank or there is mentioned that you want to ask about it once again. Note here, and once you ask, you need to once again leasen the whole sentence (cannot be skiped). So if you are fine with this ancient mechanic you probably would enjoy the game. For me it was just iritating.
