Viractal: Will You Trust Your Party?

wonderful D&D inspired co-op roguelite! If you're a fan of the likes of Slay the Spire, you will certainly enjoy this one! Sadly it's using too many reused assets for my liking. You end up in a new area/biome, and instead of providing you with entirely unique monster designs, you just get hit with the exact same monster models from the previous location just with a color palette swap.

First of all, I really love the art direction in this game. It's really cute and truly brings a lighthearted atmosphere, perfect for a coop session with friends. You can never get mad when RNG screws you over because the SFX and character models are adorable. On that note, I can never get mad when I find out that my friends are trying to screw me over ingame (which I guarantee, will happen to you more often than you think.) Now let's talk about the gameplay. New players might find this game daunting at first because there are a lot of mechanics to master such as the will system, drop rate levels, different buffs/debuffs and many more. You can't exactly compare it to other coop deckbuilders such as Across the Obelisk since it's a completely different game. Having a 'thin' deck is nearly impossible due to reasons you'd have to find out for yourself, but that's exactly the challenge you need to overcome in this game. Rest assured, the game will give you plenty of imbalanced passives/items to help you win a run. Having said that, I can clearly say that once you understand the basics, the game will feel really fun. There are a lot of random events to experience and card + character synergies to experiment with so you'd be spending a lot of time formulating strategies to break the game; something roguelike lovers would really enjoy. Load times are very smooth, and the game does not have any performance issues so far. There were times where my friends would disconnect due to issues on their end, but the run is autosaved at the start of a character's turn so continuing the run is very easy and we never had any problems regarding online play. A run typically goes for 1~2 hours so you and your friends would probably be able to finish it in one go and won't need to save and continue later. That's a big plus for casual gamers. Anyways I am currently having a blast and I only have praises for this game. It's not an easy game to pick up and honestly, the English translation could be slightly improved, but at this price tag? It's definitely worth the money.

Just finished my first playthrough with 2 other folks using Steam Remote Play and it was surprisingly smooth! Really liked the pace of play. A lot of games in the category can suffer from crazy long down times but this game's animations were quick; paired with not a ton of choices to make on your turn, it did not drag. Our first run was a nailbiter! We got the dragon to 8hp before the party wiped, it was so close. Unlocked two new characters and we're excited to run it back. a lot of clear inspiration from For the King, but the gameplay is MUCH faster. FTK can suffer from a lot of downtime while you wait for other people's turns but this game felt pretty streamlined. Not a ton of decisions to make on your turn in the overworld, but it still manages to feel meaningful. Also your turn in combat is just the option to use an item and play 1 of the 3 cards in your hand. This game is easily worth more than $20 considering only one person needs to own the game for remote play. Easy thumbs up!

처음에 정속으로 3시간 가량 친구들과 플레이했으나 3배속 한번 맛본 이후로는 2배속 이하는 하기 힘들어졌습니다. 각 캐릭터간 조합에 따라서 플레이 난이도 차이가 매우 심합니다. 특히 탐색자 천사총 빌드는 중간보스는 없어지는 취급이라 그냥 날먹이 가능합니다. 어째서 해제불가인 죄가 만능약에 풀리는지는 버그인지 아니면 의도인지는 모르겠습니다. 공략이랄것도 없지만 엔딩조건은 연성대 에서 각 영혼(전사 마법사 도적)을 해금 하고 영혼을 파는 상점(잡화 상점)을 해금 아무 스테이지 에서 잡화 상점을 방문하여 3개의 영혼을 구매 후 사용하면 대기실에서 특수한 메시지를 보게되고 이후 GM바포에게 새로운 대화 선택지가 생기니 말을 걸면 5스테이지 해금이 가능해집니다. 드래곤 가든+는 5스테이지 클리어시 해금 가능해 집니다.

Just found this game from yggdra collab, I'm trying with 2 friends and it's really fun ! If you're looking for 1-3 party board game with procedural generation, I'm recommend this ! + Pacing of game is great, not too long or too fast + Many character ( class ) for playing ! + Each map keep showing new interesting things and it's new generate every run ;) + You can find online map or local coop or remote play ( It's really stable ) = Main story map has only 4 stage, then it's 2 hard version of old map = Meta progression quite dull, so we only focus on unlock character & stage ( other else looks that not interesting ) Thank you for a nice game, It's quite expensive for this quite short variety of content and also this is my first time buying board game genre but it's not regret ! Hope there's more update to this game, looking forward to it ! Love to see more waifu like yggdra more

포 더 킹 하는느낌으로 시작함 캐릭터1~3개로 보드판위에서 미션도깨고 몹도잡고 레벨업하면서 강해진다 그리고 게임판수하면서 해금되는 이벤트 등등으로 로그라이크요소 포더킹보단 좀이쁘고 덱빌딩카드게임으로 하는 포더킹이라고 생각하면 될듯 한글화도 잘되어있고 나름 하나하나 해가는 재미가있음 다만 일본패드게임 종류의 고질적인 단점인 컴퓨터 키마 포팅이 좀 별로라서 조작감이 살짝불편하고 덱빌딩은 덱빌딩인데 깊이가 그렇게 깊지않아서 몇판하다보면 그게 그거 재미급격히 다운됨 문장관련 불쾌함도있고 이런부분을 좀만 잘 만져주면 더재미있을듯 일단 평가는 추천 20퍼 할인이상이면 할만함

Game is very fun, it's a bit similar to other roguelite table-top inspired games such as grand knight history or grand kingdom, but having the ability to play co-op with little additions like the "contracts" in game makes the game much greater than its single player alternatives.
