Love the dystopian vibe with some solid gameplay. Found the bunnies adorable and makes the game even more fun to play!
Another phenomenal entry into the survival crafting genre. To say The Colony has charm would be an understatement—it’s absolutely brimming with personality. The game features an adorable bunny sprite art style that’s delightfully cute, yet it’s contrasted by equally horrifying hordes of zombie bunnies determined to stop you at every opportunity. This unique blend of charm and challenge creates a stimulating experience that keeps you on your toes, balancing whimsy with the thrill of survival in a way that’s both engaging and satisfying.
Not my kinda thing but recommending to people who enjoy games like Cult of the Lamb, its a quality game.
Currently broken as one would expect from an early access game, Your workers will farm and that's about it, they start off building at first which shows they can work but after the tutorial they stop working altogether. (I suspect this is part in due to lack of recreation, you don't even have basic recreation instead have to research it)You are unable to actually research anything. (When you find the terminal no matter how many disks you have, you cant learn anything it will just say 2 more left.) Some of the research is off the terminal screen, cant tell what it is. Workers horde food in inventory and never store anything (no chest are not full they are in fact empty) combat is pretty meh at the moment but again its a brand new release of early access. I hope this game gets better but at the moment its unplayable, will wait for future updates.
edit: actually got to get on discord and screen share the problems I was having and within 20 minutes all issues listed previously were fixed. game is playable now. can recommend. EDIT!: seems the dev of this game left the official discord and has made no progress on development. its too late for me to refund but seems this may have been a cash grab game. buyer beware!
The Colony 2044 is a brilliantly unique survival-strategy game that masterfully blends resource management, combat, and colony-building in a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombie bunnies. The engaging game play keeps you on your toes as you navigate the challenges of survival while uncovering the secrets of a potential cure. With its charming yet dark aesthetic, deep social dynamics, and rewarding progression, this game offers an immersive experience that strategy fans will love. Whether you're fortifying your settlement or leading your bunny survivors into battle, every decision feels impact and satisfying! 🐰🔥
This game is so addictive and the art style is amazing, pulling you into a world that feels mysterious. I like that it doesn’t spoon-feed you mechanics or objectives and you have to figure things out yourself. This adds to the tension and excitement, making every small discovery feel rewarding.
11/10 would recommend if you want to watch cute fluffballs slowly lose their minds.
Fun game with a lot of potential. Would recommend to anyone who is a fan of survival games. 10/10 art style and music!
Chopped some trees, caught some fireflies, met some bun-buns, and slaughtered some zombies! I can't wait to see what is next in store for this game
